Dieser Teil des Skiwanderweges Rennsteig beginnt für Sie am Wachsenrasen und führt Sie über verschiedene Aussichtspunkte, wie zum Beispiel den Hohen Schorn, zum Grenzadler in Oberhof. Unterwegs kommen Sie an mehreren Schutzhütten vorbei. Unser Start ist der Wachsen Rasen mit seiner Schutzhütte "Steinernes Häuschen" , die Schutzhütte Kamel ist die zweite auf unserer Strecke. An der Karinhütte haben Sie die Möglichkeit einen kurzen Abstecher zum Aussichtspunkt Hohe Möst zu machen, mit seinem herrlichen Blick ins Haseltal von Oberschönau. Auf dem letzten Teilstück dieser Tour finden Sie noch die Schutzhütte Axel. Alle Schutzhütten werden, Sommer wie Winter, gerne wieder einmal als sehr urige Übernachtungsmöglichkeit genutzt. Auch geschichtlich finden Sie einige interessante Punkte auf dieser Tour, wie zum Beispiel zwei kleine Denkmäler für die gefallenen Soltaden aus den Luftkämpfen des 2 Weltkrieges über Oberhof. Am Grenzadler erwartet Sie noch die Thüringer Hütte für eine kleine Einkehr.

Cette partie du parcours de ski Rennsteig commence pour vous au Wachsenrasen et vous conduit à travers plusieurs points de vue, comme par exemple le Hoher Schorn, jusqu'au Grenzadler à Oberhof. En chemin, vous passez devant divers abris. Notre départ est le Wachsenrasen avec son abri "Steinernes Häuschen", le Kamel est le second abri sur notre trajet. À la cabane Karin, vous pouvez faire un petit détour jusqu'au point de vue Hohe Möst, avec sa magnifique vue sur la vallée Hasel près d'Oberschönau. Dans la dernière partie de ce parcours, vous trouverez encore l'abri Axel. Toutes les cabanes sont, en été comme en hiver, souvent utilisées comme des lieux d'hébergement pittoresques. Vous trouverez également des points d'intérêt historiques sur ce parcours, comme par exemple deux petits monuments commémorant les soldats tombés lors des combats aériens de la Seconde Guerre mondiale au-dessus d'Oberhof. Au Grenzadler, la cabane de Thuringe vous attend pour une petite pause gourmande.

This part of the Rennsteig ski hiking trail starts for you at Wachsenrasen and leads you over various viewpoints such as Hoher Schorn to the Grenzadler in Oberhof. Along the way, you will pass several shelters. Our start is at Wachsenrasen with its shelter "Stone House," the Kamel shelter is the second on our route. At the Karin hut, you have the possibility to make a short detour to the Hohe Möst viewpoint with its magnificent view into the Hasel valley from Oberschönau. On the last section of this route, you will also find the Axel shelter. All shelters are gladly used as very rustic overnight accommodations in both summer and winter. You will also find some interesting historical points on this tour, such as two small memorials for the fallen soldiers from the air battles of World War II over Oberhof. At the Grenzadler, you will find the Thuringian Hut for a small refreshment.

Kurz nach Start der Tour kommen wir an einen kleinen Anstieg der uns zum Aussichtspunkt "Hoher Schorn" führt. Hier haben wir eine herrliche Aussicht auf den Thüringer Wald, und können bei schönen Wetter bis in die Röhn blicken. Nun folgen wir den org. Rennsteig bis zum Gustav-Freytag-Stein und biegen, gleich hinter der Schutzhütte nach rechts ab. Vorbei an Zielpunkt der Rennsteigleiter aus Oberschönau kommen wir kurz danach zur Schutzhütte Karin. An dieser Kreuzung halten wir uns links und folgen dem Wegeverlauf weiter richtung Oberhof. Langsam kommen wir unserem Zielpunkt näher, an der Schutzhütte Axel queren wir das erste mal die "Rollerbahn" der Leistungssportler. Auf dem letzten Teilstück unserer Skitour passieren wir noch zwei mal die Rollerbahn und haben kurz vor Ziel noch ein kleines Denkmal, das an einen Luftkampf über Oberhof erinnert. Nun nur noch an der Sportkaserne unserer Wintersportlervorbei und schon sehen wir den Grenzadler. Hier können wir zum Abschluß unserer Tour noch eine kleine Stärkung an der Thüringer Hütte nehmen und den Tag langsam Ausklingen lassen oder nach dieser das nächste Teilstück des Rennsteiges in Angriff nehmen. Auch haben Sie hier die Möglichkeit im Waldgasthof Schanzenbaude zu Übernachten.

Dans la dernière partie de notre parcours de ski, nous passons encore deux fois la Rollerbahn et, peu avant l'arrivée, nous trouvons un petit monument qui rappelle un combat aérien au-dessus d'Oberhof. Nous passons ensuite près de la caserne sportive de notre athlète d'hiver et apercevons déjà le Grenzadler. Ici, nous pouvons enfin prendre un petit rafraîchissement à la cabane de Thuringe pour clôturer la journée en douceur, ou bien poursuivre sur la prochaine partie du Rennsteig. Vous avez également la possibilité de passer la nuit au restaurant de la forêt Schanzenbaude.

On the last section of our ski route, we pass the roller track twice more and shortly before the end, there is a small memorial that commemorates an air battle over Oberhof. Then only past the sports barracks of our winter athletes and we already see the Grenzadler. Here we can have a small refreshment at the Thuringian Hut to conclude our route and unwind, or after this, we can tackle the next section of the Rennsteig. You also have the option to stay overnight at the Schanzenbaude forest inn.
