Le point de départ se trouve aux panneaux de randonnée au-dessus du restaurant "Bergfried". De là, marchez environ 50 m sur la rue en direction de la clinique Bergfried. Juste avant le parking de la clinique, tournez à droite puis, après environ 40 m, à gauche dans le petit bois de hêtres. Après environ 250 m — au niveau de la clinique — vous apercevrez à droite le Fuchsturm à moins de 100 m. Vous y apprécierez des vues magnifiques sur le Bohlenwand et la vallée de la Saale. La clé de la tour peut être empruntée à la clinique Bergfried. Le chemin proprement dit tourne alors à gauche et descend derrière la clinique. Bientôt la lisière de forêt est atteinte, offrant de belles vues sur le quartier de Gorndorf et la vallée de l’Orla. Le chemin suit la lisière de forêt jusqu’à environ 50 m avant la route. De là, on tourne à gauche et on remonte, au-dessus de la zone de la piscine en plein air. Nous suivons le chemin creux le long de la clôture du parc Bergfried jusqu’à la campagne. Peu après, le chemin entre dans le parc. Dans le parc, on monte encore légèrement sur environ 200 m pour revenir au point de départ.

The starting point is at the hiking boards above the "Bergfried" restaurant. From there, walk about 50 m along the street towards the Bergfried Clinic. Just before the clinic parking lot, turn right and after about 40 m turn left into the beech grove. After about 250 m - at the level of the clinic - you will see the Fox Tower about 100 m to the right. Here you enjoy beautiful views of the Bohlenwand and the Saale valley. The key to the tower can be borrowed at the Bergfried Clinic. The actual path turns left there and goes downhill behind the clinic grounds. Soon you reach the forest edge, which offers beautiful views over the Gorndorf district and into the Orla valley. The path follows the forest edge until about 50 m before the street. From there, it turns left and goes uphill again above the outdoor pool area. We follow the hollow path along the fence of Bergfried Park to the field area. Shortly afterwards, the path changes into the park area. In the park, it goes about 200 m gently uphill back to the start.

Startpunkt ist an den Wandertafeln oberhalb des Restaurants "Bergfried". Von dort gehen Sie etwa 50 m auf der Straße in Richtung Klinik Bergfried. Kurz vor dem Klinikparkplatz biegen Sie rechts ab und gehen nach etwa 40 m links in das Buchenwäldchen. Nach etwa 250 m - auf Höhe der Klinik - sehen Sie rechts in knapp 100 m Entfernung den Fuchsturm. Hier genießen Sie wunderschöne Ausblicke auf die Bohlenwand und ins Saaletal. Der Schlüssel zum Turm kann in der Klinik Bergfried ausgeliehen werden.  Der eigentliche Weg biegt dort nach links ab und verläuft hinter dem Klinikgelände bergab. Bald wird der Waldrand erreicht, wo Sie schöne Aussichten über den Stadtteil Gorndorf und ins Orlatal bieten. Der Weg folgt dem Waldrand bis etwa 50 m vor der Straße. Von dort geht es links ab und wieder bergauf, oberhalb des Freibadgeländes. Wir folgen dem Hohlweg entlang der Umzäunung des Bergfriedparks bis zur Feldflur. Kurz danach wechselt der Weg in das Parkgelände. Im Park geht es noch etwa 200 m leicht bergauf zurück zum Start.
