Drei an den Wochenenden bewirtschaftete Hütten: Jahnhütte, DRK-Hütte und Hütte an der Silberwiese laden zur Einkehr ein. Du startest deine Ganztageswanderung am Parkplatz Rotteroder Höhe. Über die Tambacher Straße wanderst du bergauf. Vereinzelte Pflastersteine lassen noch den alten Handelsweg zum Rennsteig erkennen. Nach etwa 1,5 km biegst du links ab in Richtung Jahnhütte. Hier wartet die erste Einkehrmöglichkeit auf dich. Nachdem du dich gestärkt hast, steigst du über eine Wiese zur DRK-Hütte. Von hier genießt du einen wunderbaren Blick bis in die Rhön und dem weißen Berg - "Monte Kali". Wieder auf der Tambacher Straße folgst du dieser talabwärts bevor du an der nächsten Gabelung nach links abbiegst. Du erreichst die Hütte an der Silberwiese und einen weiteren grandiosen Aussichtspunkt. Über die Wiese und einen alpinen Steig gelangst du auf einen Forstweg. Dein Weg zurück zum Ausgangspunkt führt dich ein Stück ins Moosbachtal und dann oberhalb am Kletterfelsen "Koppenstein" vorbei.

Three huts open on weekends: Jahnhütte, DRK Hut, and the hut at Silberwiese invite you to stop. You start your all-day hike at the Rotteroder Höhe car park. Walk uphill via Tambacher Straße. Scattered cobblestones still show the old trade route to the Rennsteig. After about 1.5 km, turn left towards Jahnhütte. Here, the first place to stop awaits you. After you have refreshed yourself, climb over a meadow to the DRK Hut. From here you enjoy a wonderful view up to the Rhön and the white mountain - "Monte Kali." Back on Tambacher Straße, follow it downhill before turning left at the next fork. You reach the hut at Silberwiese and another magnificent viewpoint. Across the meadow and an alpine path, you reach a forest road. Your way back leads you down a bit into the Moosbach valley and then above past the climbing rock "Koppenstein" to the starting point.

Trois cabanes ouvertes le week-end : Jahnhütte, cabane DRK et cabane à Silberwiese invitent à une pause. Tu commences ta randonnée à la journée au parking Rotteroder Höhe. De nouveau sur la Tambacher Straße, tu la suis en descente avant de tourner à gauche à la fourche suivante. Tu atteins la cabane à Silberwiese et un autre point de vue grandiose. Par la prairie et un sentier alpin, tu parviens à un chemin forestier. Ton chemin de retour au point de départ te mène un moment dans la vallée Moosbachtal, puis au-dessus en passant par la falaise d'escalade « Koppenstein ».
