Rundwanderung vom Stausee Thal über den Mittelberger Grund zum Meisenstein, einem ca. 50 m hohen Porphyr-Felsen mit herrlichem Ausblick auf den Thüringer Wald. Von dort führt die Rundtour über die Wanderhütte Königshäuschen, den Aschhof, Hohler Stein und Tempelchen mit schönen Aussichten, geologischen Highlights und verwunschenen Orten. Randonnée circulaire depuis le lac de retenue de Thal via le Mittelberger Grund jusqu'au Meisenstein, un rocher de porphyre d'environ 50 m de haut offrant une magnifique vue sur la forêt de Thuringe. schema:value @de <p>Beginn der Rundwanderung (Markierung gelbes Kreuz auf weißem Grund) ist am Stausee Thal, einem Ortsteil der Bergstadt Ruhla. Von hier aus führt die Wanderung über einen gut ausgebauten Schotterweg zum Mittelberger Grund. <br />Achtung! Am Risch’s Teich zweigt der Rundwanderweg „Königshäuschen" nach rechts ab, der das selbe Markierungszeichen hat, hier bitte geradeaus weiter laufen!<br />Entlang des Thalbachs vorbei an Teichen und Wiesen legt man bis zur Wegkreuzung an der alten Weinstraße ca. 2,5 km zurück, bevor man den Aufstieg zur Spitze des Felsens, der dann linker Hand zu sehen ist, bestreitet. 450 m sind es von der Wegkreuzung noch einmal bis der herrliche Ausblick die bisherige Anstrengung vergessen lässt. Vom Meisenstein führt der Weg erst einmal zurück zur Kreuzung an der alten Weinstraße, der man dann nach links Richtung Königshäuschen folgt. Nach ca 1 km zweigt der Rundweg nach rechts in die Öhrenkammer ab, in der sich u.a. Spuren von altem Bergbau und geologische Highlights befinden. Die Wegeführung läuft jetzt parallel zur GeoRoute 9. Bis zum nächsten Ziel, dem Königshäuschen sind es noch 2,5 km.</p> <p>Die Wanderhütte „Königshäuschen“ wird von der Abteilung "Wandern und Bergsteigen" der TSG Ruhla e.V. betrieben und hat von April bis Oktober von Freitag bis Sonntag sowie im Dezember an den Wochenenden und Feiertagen geöffnet. Hier besteht die Möglichkeit die Tour abzukürzen, in dem man den ca 2 km langen Talweg direkt zum Mittelberger Grund nimmt und dann weiter zum Stausee läuft (Rundwanderweg Königshäuschen).</p> <p>Nach einer Rast mit schöner Aussicht bis zu den Hörselbergen geht man entlang der GeoRoute 9 bis zur Wegkreuzung Aschhof. Neben einer Finnhütte befindet sich dort auch eine Informationstafel zum Schwerspatabbau, der in diesem Gebiet betrieben wurde. Nun dem Weg rechts Richtung Thal Ortsmitte für ca. 450 m folgen, dann 2x links abbiegen und den Waldweg bergab laufen. Von hier aus besteht die Möglichkeit die Runde abzukürzen, in dem man direkt der Beschilderung „Tempelchen“ folgt. Empfehlenswert ist aber, den Abstecher zum „Hohlen Stein“ zu machen. Hierzu geradeaus über die Kreuzung laufen und der Markierung gelbes Kreuz folgen. Nachdem man bis zur Wegkreuzung „Ütterodts Ruh“ noch leicht bergab gehen konnte, ist jetzt noch einmal ein kurzer Aufstieg auf den Schoßberg nötig. Oben geht man den Kammweg entlang und gelangt nach 250 m zum Hohlen Stein. Dieser Felsen ist die Spitze eines Zechsteinriffs, aus dem der gesamte Berg besteht. Und wie der Name sagt, befindet sich in dem Felsen eine Höhle, deren Eingang sich an der Südseite in etwa 2,5 m Höhe befindet. Mit etwas Glück findet der Geduldige sogar Klein-Fossilien wie versteinerte Pflanzenreste oder Muscheln. Von hier aus geht man den selben Weg zurück bis zur Wegkreuzung mit der Sitzgruppe und zweigt hier nach links ab in Richtung „Tempelchen“. Der Waldweg führt jetzt hinab bis in den Ort Thal. An der Straße angekommen, empfiehlt sich noch ein kleiner Abstecher auf das Tempelchen, welches sich nach links oben gerichtet in ca. 200 m auf einem Felsvorsprung befindet. Von hier hat man noch einmal einen schönen Ausblick auf den oberen Ortsteil von Thal und auf den gegenüberliegenden Scharfenberg, auf dem sich die gleichnamige Burgruine befindet. Après environ 1 km, on arrive à une intersection avec un banc invitant à la pause. De là, il est possible de raccourcir la boucle en suivant directement la signalisation « Tempelchen ». Cependant, il est recommandé de faire un détour par le « Hohler Stein ». Pour ce faire, continuer tout droit à l'intersection et suivre le balisage croix jaune. Après avoir pu descendre légèrement jusqu'à l'intersection « Ütterodts Ruh », il faut encore une courte montée sur le Schoßberg. Au sommet, marcher le long de la crête sur environ 250 m jusqu’au Hohler Stein. Ce rocher est le sommet d'un récif de Zechstein dont est constitué tout le massif. Comme son nom l'indique, ce rocher abrite une grotte dont l'entrée est située à environ 2,5 m de hauteur sur la face sud. Avec un peu de chance, le patient peut même trouver de petits fossiles comme des restes de plantes fossilisées ou des coquillages. De là, revenir sur le même chemin jusqu'à l'intersection avec le banc, puis tourner à gauche en direction du « Tempelchen ». Le chemin forestier descend maintenant jusqu'au village de Thal. Une fois dans la rue, un petit détour vers le Tempelchen est conseillé, situé environ 200 m à gauche en hauteur sur un promontoire rocheux. De là, on a une belle vue sur la partie haute de Thal et sur le Scharfenberg en face, sur lequel se trouve la ruine du même nom. However, the detour to the "Hohler Stein" is recommended. For this, go straight across the junction and follow the yellow cross marking. After gently descending to the junction "Ütterodts Ruh", a short climb up to the Schoßberg is still necessary. At the top, follow the ridge trail and after 250 m you reach the Hohler Stein. This rock is the tip of a Zechstein reef, from which the entire mountain consists. And as the name says, there is a cave in the rock, whose entrance is on the south side at about 2.5 m height. With some luck, the patient may even find small fossils like petrified plant remains or shells. From here, you take the same path back to the junction with the seating area and here turn left towards "Tempelchen". The forest path now leads downhill into the village of Thal. Once on the road, a small detour to the Tempelchen is recommended, which is located about 200 m to the left and up on a rock outcrop. From here, you get another nice view of the upper part of Thal and the opposite Scharfenberg, where the castle ruins of the same name are located. To return to the starting point of the hike, follow the road towards the reservoir/barbecue area – the destination is reached after 700 m. This circular hike can be shortened by taking the approx. 2 km long valley path directly to the Mittelberger Grund from Königshäuschen and then continuing to the reservoir (circular route Königshäuschen). The trail marking is also the yellow cross on white background.
