About: Rundwanderweg "Kindernaturlehrpfad" - Steinbach-Hallenberg - Thüringer Wald, Circular hiking trail "Children's nature trail" - Steinbach-Hallenberg - Thuringian Forest, Sentier circulaire "sentier nature pour enfants" - Steinbach-Hallenberg - Forêt de Thuringe

Start und Ziel ist der Parkplatz "Festplatz" im Ortskern von Steinbach-Hallenberg. Von hier aus folgen Sie der Wolffstraße in Richtung Hallenburg. Am Schloßplatz führt der Weg hinauf bis zur Abbiegung (Hinweisschild) "Hallenburg". Der schmale Waldweg schlängelt sich hinauf zur Burgruine und Sie passieren die ersten Hinweistafeln über die Bewohner und Pflanzen im Thüringer Wald. An der Burg angekommen, lohnt sich ein Abstecher zum Plateau (aufgrund von Restaurierungen derzeit leider nicht möglich bzw. nur auf eigene Gefahr, Stand Mai 2020). Auf der Wegegabelung vor der Burg befindet sich eine Übersichtstafel, die den Verlauf des Rundweges zeigt. Weiter geht es nach rechts und gleich die nächste Abbiegung links den Weg entlang - die nächste Station mit einer Hinweistafel ist schon von weitem zu sehen. Sie folgen dem Weg weiter in Richtung Ferienhausgebiet. Von hier bietet sich ein herrlicher Blick über die Stadt Steinbach-Hallenberg. Durch das Bungalowgebiet und vorbei an den Ferienhäusern "Aurora" und "Pfaffenwiese" kommen Sie zur nächsten Kreuzung wo Sie geradeaus weiter gehen. Weitere 2 Hinweistafel auf der linken Seite folgen bevor Sie an der nächsten Gabelung rechts abbiegen. Gleich am Wegesrand auf der rechten Seite lohnt sich ein Blick, denn Sie stehen genau oberhalb der Schanzenanlage von Steinbach-Hallenberg. Dann geht es weiter durch den Wald hinab zur unteren Liftstation. Hier angeklommen biegen Sie rechts ab und folgen dem Weg entlang des Feuchtbiotops. Am Wasserhäuschen führt der Weg nach rechts und nach der Sitzbank biegen Sie auch wieder rechts ab. An der nächsten Kreuzung folgen Sie dem Weg links und kommen zur Abbiegung von wo sich gerade hoch ein Abstecher zum Ehrenmal und Gedenkstätte der Opfer des 1. Weltkrieges lohnt. Denn von hier bietet sich noch einmal eine schöne Aussicht. Wieder zurück überqueren Sie einen kleinen Bach und kommen dann auf eine Straße wo Sie zunächst rechts und dann gleich wieder links abbiegen. Wieder geht es durch das Bungalowgebiet bis zur Gaststätte "Bergbaude". Daran vorbei biegen Sie links ab und folgen der Straße hinab. Halten Sie sich rechts und dann wieder links. In etwa auf Höhe des Ferienhauses "Brunnenwiese" (gelbes Haus) biegen Sie in einen Pfad, der Sie durch eine "Hohle" zurück zum Schloßberg führt. Hier befindet sich dann auch die letzte Tafel des Kindernaturlehrpfades und Sie folgen dem Schlossberg zurück nach unten und kehren über die Wolffstraße zurück zum Ausgangspunkt der Wanderung.

Le départ et l’arrivée se font au parking "Festplatz" dans le centre-ville de Steinbach-Hallenberg. De là, suivez la Wolffstraße en direction de Hallenburg. À la place du château, le chemin monte jusqu’au virage (panneau indicateur) "Hallenburg". Le sentier forestier étroit serpente jusqu’aux ruines du château où vous passerez devant les premiers panneaux d’information sur les habitants et les plantes de la forêt de Thuringe. À l’arrivée au château, il vaut la peine de faire un détour vers le plateau (actuellement malheureusement impossible en raison de restaurations ou seulement à vos risques et périls, état mai 2020). À la bifurcation devant le château se trouve un panneau d’aperçu montrant le parcours circulaire. Continuez à droite puis prenez immédiatement la prochaine bifurcation à gauche - la prochaine station avec un panneau d’information est déjà visible de loin. Suivez le chemin en direction du quartier de maisons de vacances. De là, vous bénéficiez d’une magnifique vue sur la ville de Steinbach-Hallenberg. Après le quartier des bungalows et en passant devant les maisons de vacances "Aurora" et "Pfaffenwiese", vous arrivez à un croisement où vous continuez tout droit. Deux autres panneaux d’information se trouvent ensuite sur la gauche avant que vous ne tourniez à droite à la prochaine bifurcation. Juste au bord du chemin sur la droite, cela vaut le coup d’œil car vous vous trouvez exactement au-dessus des tremplins de Steinbach-Hallenberg. Ensuite, continuez à travers la forêt en descendant jusqu’à la station inférieure du télésiège. À l’arrivée, tournez à droite et suivez le chemin le long de la zone humide. Au kiosque à eau, le chemin tourne à droite, puis après le banc, tournez à nouveau à droite. Au croisement suivant, prenez le chemin à gauche et arrivez à la bifurcation d’où un petit détour vers le monument aux morts et le mémorial des victimes de la Première Guerre mondiale vaut la peine. De là, vous aurez une belle vue une fois de plus. Revenez en arrière, traversez un petit ruisseau, puis sur une route, tournez d'abord à droite, puis de nouveau à gauche. Vous traversez à nouveau le quartier des bungalows jusqu’à l’auberge "Bergbaude". Passez-la, tournez à gauche et descendez la route. Restez à droite puis encore à gauche. À peu près à la hauteur de la maison de vacances "Brunnenwiese" (maison jaune), entrez dans un sentier qui vous ramène à travers une "trouée" vers le Schlossberg. Là se trouve la dernière plaque du sentier d’éducation à la nature pour enfants, puis vous suivez le Schlossberg vers le bas pour revenir par la Wolffstraße au point de départ de la randonnée.

Start and finish is at the "Festplatz" parking lot in the center of Steinbach-Hallenberg. From there, follow Wolffstraße toward Hallenburg. At Schloßplatz the path leads up to the turnoff (signpost) "Hallenburg." The narrow forest path winds up to the castle ruins and you pass the first information boards about the inhabitants and plants of the Thuringian Forest. Upon reaching the castle, a detour to the plateau is worthwhile (currently unfortunately not possible due to restoration or only at your own risk, as of May 2020). At the fork before the castle, there is an overview board showing the course of the circular route. Continue to the right and immediately take the next left; the next station with an information board can already be seen from afar. Follow the path further toward the holiday home area. From here you have a magnificent view over the town of Steinbach-Hallenberg. Through the bungalow area and past the holiday homes "Aurora" and "Pfaffenwiese," you come to the next intersection where you go straight. Another 2 information boards on the left side follow before you turn right at the next fork. Right by the path on the right side, a look is worthwhile because you are directly above the ski jump facility of Steinbach-Hallenberg. Then continue through the forest down to the lower lift station. Upon arrival, turn right and follow the path along the wetland. At the little water house, the path leads right and after the bench you also turn right. At the next intersection, follow the path to the left and come to the turnoff where a detour straight up to the war memorial and memorial site for the victims of World War I is worthwhile. From there, you get another beautiful view. Back again, cross a small stream and then come to a road where you first turn right and then immediately left again. You go through the bungalow area again to the "Bergbaude" inn. Past it, turn left and follow the road downhill. Keep right and then left again. At about the level of the holiday home "Brunnenwiese" (yellow house) turn into a path that leads you through a "hollow" back to Schlossberg. Here is the last board of the children's nature trail, and you follow Schlossberg back down and return via Wolffstraße to the starting point of the hike.
