Noch vor 30 Jahren war Ruhla Standort von meheren Stammbetrieben ehemaliger Kombinate und vieler großer Betriebe. Hier arbeiteten über 7.000 Menschen in der Uhren-, Fahrzeugelektrik-, Elektro- oder Metallwarenindustrie. Nach der politischen Wende veränderte sich der Industrieort Ruhla drastisch. Leerstehende Häuser und Industriebrachen wurden abgerissen, umgestaltet, größere Plätze entstanden. Plötzlich wurde es licht im dunklen und engen Bergstädtchen. Heute ist Ruhla geprägt von mittelständischen Unternehmen und dem Dienstleitungsgewerbe. Freizeittouristischen Angebote und die Nähe zum Rennsteig, sowie die zahlreichen Wälder rund um Ruhla lassen die Stadt nun als Erholungsort im neuen Gewand ertstrahlen. Die "Industrieroute Ruhla Zentrum" nimmt Sie mit auf eine Zeitreise zu den einstigen Industriestandorten im Zentrum der Bergstadt.

Il y a seulement 30 ans, Ruhla était le siège de plusieurs entreprises principales d’anciens groupes combinés et de nombreuses grandes entreprises. Plus de 7000 personnes y travaillaient dans l’industrie horlogère, l’électronique automobile, électrique ou des produits métalliques. Après le changement politique, le site industriel de Ruhla a considérablement changé. Les maisons vides et les friches industrielles ont été démolies, réaménagées et de plus grandes places ont été créées. Soudain, il est devenu lumineux dans la petite ville minière sombre et étroite. Aujourd’hui, Ruhla est dominée par des entreprises moyennes et le secteur des services. Les offres touristiques de loisirs et la proximité du Rennsteig, ainsi que les nombreuses forêts autour de Ruhla, donnent à la ville une nouvelle allure de lieu de détente. La "route industrielle de Ruhla Centre" vous fait voyager dans le temps aux emplacements industriels du centre de la ville minière.

Just 30 years ago, Ruhla was home to several parent companies of former combines and many large businesses. Over 7,000 people worked here in the watch, vehicle electronics, electrical, or metal goods industries. After the political turnaround, the industrial location Ruhla changed drastically. Vacant houses and industrial wasteland were demolished, redesigned, and larger squares were created. Suddenly, it became light in the dark and narrow mountain town. Today, Ruhla is characterized by medium-sized companies and the service sector. Leisure tourist offers and proximity to the Rennsteig, as well as the numerous forests around Ruhla, now make the town shine as a recreational place in a new guise. The "Ruhla Industrial Route Center" takes you on a time journey to the former industrial locations in the center of the mountain town.

Vous commencez votre parcours à l'Office de tourisme de Ruhla. N'hésitez pas à y entrer immédiatement et à prendre d'autres informations pour votre parcours circulaire. De retour sur la place du marché, allez d’abord à gauche en direction du marché Rewe. Cette place centrale a été créée seulement en 2004, lors de la démolition des anciennes maisons et friches industrielles après la réunification. Vous passez devant la première plaque signalétique (usine de produits métalliques Thiel & Bardenheuer, plus tard Mewa). La mairie, une maison d’habitation et le marché Rewe ont maintenant pris place dans cette ancienne grande usine. Le long de la rue, suivez la direction de la mairie. En tournant à gauche, la prochaine plaque est déjà en vue (usine de produits métalliques Kaspar Hess, plus tard Mewa). Le bâtiment n'existe plus, un parking a été aménagé à cet endroit. Passez devant la mairie puis tournez à droite. Vous passez près de la roue à aubes, après quelques pas vous arrivez dans un espace vert avec des places assises, à l'angle se trouve la prochaine plaque signalétique (usine de pipes Ziegler, plus tard EBR - Werk II). Vous rencontrez bientôt un autre espace vert. Sur la droite se trouve la plaque signalétique "École professionnelle, plus tard école professionnelle supérieure". Suivez maintenant le sentier étroit le long de l'eau. En allant tout droit, vous arrivez à une borne-frontière. Elle symbolise la séparation séculaire de la ville en deux duchés "Saxe Gotha" et "Saxe Weimar". Ce n’est qu’en 1920/21 que la ville minière fut réunifiée. Encore 100 mètres plus loin se trouve le musée local et du pipeau à tabac. Vous y apprendrez non seulement des faits intéressants sur la production réussie et la distribution mondiale des pipes à tabac de Ruhla, mais aussi sur de nombreuses particularités, métiers et coutumes des habitants de Ruhla. Une exposition thématique sur l'histoire industrielle peut également être visitée au musée. Ceux qui ne souhaitent pas visiter le musée tournent à gauche à la borne-frontière dans la Köhlergasse. La Köhlergasse est la plus vieille rue de la ville. De nombreux panneaux sur les bâtiments donnent des informations sur les personnalités célèbres ou les lieux d'activité de la ville. Quelques mètres plus loin, vous découvrez la plaque signalétique "Usine de produits métalliques Gössel, plus tard VEB plasturgie" dans la Marienstraße.
