About: Familienwanderweg "Schäferweg" - Oberkatz - Rhön, Family hiking path "Shepherd's Path" - Oberkatz - Rhön, Parcours familial "Parcours du berger" - Oberkatz - Rhön

Der Schäferweg führt entlang alter Schafstriften durch die charakteristische Landschaft der Rhön. Hier wechseln sich Wald, Feldgehölze und Kalkmagerrasen ab und bereichern die Aussicht. Entlang des Weges befinden sich sieben Stationen mit Informationstafeln und interessanten Installationen, beispielsweise eine Fotowand und einer Relaxliege. Es wird über die Rhöner Kulturlandschaft, Flora, und Fauna sowie über unser geliebtes Rhönschaf berichtet. Spielerisch aufgearbeitet sind die Stationen ein Spaß für die ganze Familie. Kinder können sich z. B. auf die Kletterschafe setzen, durch die Guckrohre schauen oder über den Drehwürfel den Lebensraum der Rhönschafe erkunden. Wer ist der Schätzkönig der Truppe? Findet es an der Station „Schätz mal“ heraus. Es folgt ein atemberaubender Blick über die Landschaft südlich der Hohen Geba.  Dieser Weg wurde durch die Europäische Union und den Freistaat Thüringen mit EFRE-Mitteln gefördert.

Le parcours du berger suit d'anciennes pistes de moutons à travers le paysage caractéristique de la Rhön. Forêts, bosquets et pelouses calcicoles maigres s’alternent ici et enrichissent la vue. Le long du chemin se trouvent sept stations avec panneaux d'information et installations intéressantes, comme un mur photo et un fauteuil relax. On y apprend sur le paysage culturel de la Rhön, la flore, la faune ainsi que sur notre cher mouton Rhön. Présentées de manière ludique, les stations sont un plaisir pour toute la famille. Les enfants peuvent par exemple s'asseoir sur les moutons d'escalade, regarder à travers des télescopes ou explorer l’habitat des moutons Rhön via le dé rotatif. Qui sera le roi des devinettes du groupe ? Découvre-le à la station « Devine un peu ». Suit une vue époustouflante sur le paysage au sud de la Hohe Geba.  Ce chemin a été financé par l'Union européenne et le Land de Thuringe avec des fonds FEDER.

The Shepherd's Path leads along old sheep tracks through the characteristic landscape of the Rhön. Here, forest, field copses, and calcareous grasslands alternate, enriching the view. Along the path are seven stations with information boards and interesting installations, such as a photo wall and a relaxation lounge. It provides information about the Rhön cultural landscape, flora, fauna, and our beloved Rhön sheep. The stations are playfully designed and fun for the whole family. Children can, for example, sit on the climbing sheep, look through the viewing tubes, or explore the habitat of the Rhön sheep using the rotating cube. Who is the guessing king of the group? Find out at the "Guess" station. This is followed by a breathtaking view over the landscape south of the Hohe Geba. This path was funded by the European Union and the Free State of Thuringia with ERDF funds.
