Auf diesem wunderschönen Panoramaweg lernen wir das Rödental kennen – auf der Tour zeigt sich die ganze Vielfalt der Region. Besonders schön sind die blühenden Felder. In der Region wird viel Wert auf den Naturschutz und Artenvielfalt gelegt. Weite Ebenen überzogen von Rotklee und Streuobstwiesen begleiten uns auf unserem Weg. Besonders im Sommer ist das eine Pracht. Auf der Tour tauchen wir zudem in die Geschichte der Region ein und kommen zum Beispiel an der Ruine der Lauterburg vorbei, die auf das Jahr 1156 zurückgeht. Bis 1635 etablierte sich die Burg zu einem prächtigen Rokokoschloss, wurde im 30-jährigen Krieg dann aber fast vollständig zerstört und geplündert. Ein Schloss, das seinen Glanz bis heute bewahrt hat, ist Schloss Rosenau bei Unterwohlsbach. Das herrschaftliche Gebäude hat seine Ursprünge auch im Mittelalter. Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts wurde die Burg zur Sommerresidenz Herzog Ernst I. von Sachsen-Coburg und Gothas. Dieser legte großen Wert darauf, den mittelalterlichen Charme zu erhalten.

On this beautiful panoramic path, we get to know Rödental – the route shows the full diversity of the region. Especially beautiful are the blooming fields. A lot of importance is placed on nature conservation and biodiversity in the region. Wide plains covered with red clover and orchard meadows accompany us on our way. Especially in summer, this is a splendid sight. On the route, we also delve into the history of the region and, for example, pass by the ruins of Lauterburg, dating back to 1156. By 1635, the castle had developed into a magnificent Rococo palace but was almost completely destroyed and plundered during the Thirty Years' War. A castle that has preserved its splendor to this day is Rosenau Castle near Unterwohlsbach. The stately building also has its origins in the Middle Ages. At the beginning of the 19th century, the castle became the summer residence of Duke Ernst I of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. He placed great importance on preserving the medieval charm.

Sur ce magnifique parcours panoramique, nous découvrons la vallée de Röden – le parcours révèle toute la richesse de la région. Les champs en fleurs sont particulièrement beaux. La région accorde une grande importance à la protection de la nature et à la biodiversité. De vastes plaines couvertes de trèfle rouge et de vergers nous accompagnent tout au long du chemin. C’est un spectacle splendide surtout en été. Le parcours nous plonge également dans l’histoire de la région, avec par exemple la ruine de la Lauterburg, datant de 1156. Jusqu’en 1635, le château s’était transformé en un somptueux château rococo, mais il fut presque complètement détruit et pillé pendant la guerre de Trente Ans. Un château qui a conservé son éclat jusqu’à aujourd’hui est le château de Rosenau près d'Unterwohlsbach. Ce bâtiment seigneurial a également des origines médiévales. Au début du 19e siècle, le château est devenu la résidence d’été du duc Ernst I de Saxe-Cobourg et Gotha. Il attachait beaucoup d’importance à préserver le charme médiéval.

Wir starten unsere Tour an der Grenze von Bayern und Thüringen nördlich von Weißenbrunn. Wir wandern über die Brücke und folgen dem landwirtschaftlichen Weg geradeaus nach Süden, bis wir den Ort Weißenbrunn vorm Wald erreichen. Wir wandern entlang der Fombacher Straße weiter nach Süden, am Friedhof vorbei. Am Ortsausgang biegen wir vor dem letzten Hof links ab und folgen der Beschilderung des R3 und Jakobsweg. Nach knapp 500 m biegen wir rechts ab. Wir gehen links unter der großen ICE-Brücke hindurch. Wir bleiben auf diesem Weg nach Süden. Kurz nach den zwei Häusern bei Gereuth schlagen wir den Feldweg, der sich rechts des Weges abzweigt, ein. Im Sommer kann dieser etwas überwuchert sein, hier sind lange Wanderhosen gut, um sich vor Zecken zu schützen. Der Weg führt zur Ruine Lauterburg, zuerst hinunter nach Oberwohlsbach. Am Ortseingang biegen wir nach rechts in den Gereuther Weg ein und gehen gleich wieder nach rechts und wandern die Straße nach oben. Sie führt zu einem Waldweg, der später zu einem Trampelpfad durch den Wald wird. Nach einem Abstecher zur Ruine bilden wir eine Schlaufe, um wieder hinunter nach Oberwohlsbach zu gelangen. Auf der Lauterburgerstraße geht es weiter nach Süden. Die Beschilderung führt uns durch den Ort durch am Friedhof vorbei. In der Steinigleite gehen wir bis zum Ende der Straße und biegen in den Feldweg ein. Wir gehen nach rechts auf den schmalen, geteerten Weg, gehen unter der Autobahnbrücke hindurch und kommen nach Unterwohlsbach. Wir folgen dem Schulweg, überqueren die Lautertalstraße und wandern durch den Ort hinauf zum Ortsausgang. Am Spielplatz betreten wir den Schlosspark Rosenau. Wir bleiben auf dem Hauptweg, können einen kleinen Abstecher hinauf zu Schloss Rosenau machen, wandern dann auf dem Kiesweg, um die Erhöhung des Schlosses herum, laufen der Kurve entlang durch den Waldabschnitt und biegen dann rechts ab. Über der Itz drüber gehen wir nach der Brücke rechts an dem Fluss entlang. Über der nächsten Brücke kommen wir wieder ans andere Ufer, bleiben dort und gehen vorbei an den Sportplätzen. Wir biegen nach links ab und gehen über die Brücke an der Schalkauer Straße entlang. Wir bleiben auf dem Fußweg an dieser Straße, überqueren die Bahngleise und laufen an der Kirche St. Johannis vorbei. An der Kreuzung biegen wir nach links ab und betreten die Badergasse. Durch das Wohngebiet hindurch laufen wir bis zu der Abzweigung, an der die Straße hinaufführt und zu einem Fußweg wird. Dort kommen wir nach Einberg. Wir biegen nach links ab, am Friedhof noch mal und an der Kirche St. Marien gehen wir bergab und halten uns rechts. Am Ende der Straße biegen wir links ab, gehen an der Straße entlang und überqueren den Fluss Röden. Direkt danach geht ein Fuß- und Radweg rechts ab. Diesem folgen wir am Fluss entlang, bis wir das Ende der Tour bei Mönchröden erreichen.

Elle mène à un chemin forestier qui devient ensuite un sentier à travers la forêt. Après un détour jusqu’à la ruine, nous formons une boucle pour redescendre à Oberwohlsbach. La Lauterburgerstraße continue vers le sud. La signalisation nous traverse le village, passant près du cimetière. À Steinigleite, nous marchons jusqu’au bout de la rue et bifurquons sur un chemin de campagne. Nous tournons à droite sur une petite route goudronnée, passons sous le pont de l’autoroute et arrivons à Unterwohlsbach. At the intersection, we turn left and enter Badergasse. Through the residential area, we walk until the junction where the street leads up and becomes a footpath. There we reach Einberg. We turn left, once more past the cemetery and at St. Marien Church we go downhill and keep right. At the end of the street, we turn left, walk along the street, and cross the Röden River. Nous tournons à droite sur une petite route goudronnée, passons sous le pont de l’autoroute et arrivons à Unterwohlsbach.</p> <p>Nous suivons la Schulweg, traversons la Lautertalstraße et marchons à travers le village jusqu’à la sortie. Au terrain de jeux, nous entrons dans le parc du château de Rosenau. Nous restons sur le chemin principal, pouvons faire un petit détour jusqu’au château de Rosenau, puis suivons le chemin de gravier autour de l’élévation du château, continuons dans la courbe à travers la zone boisée et bifurquons à droite. Nous traversons la rivière Itz et, après le pont, prenons à droite le long du fleuve. Après le pont suivant, nous revenons de l’autre côté de la rive, restons là et passons par les terrains de sport. Nous tournons à gauche, franchissons le pont le long de la Schalkauer Straße. Nous restons sur le chemin piéton le long de cette rue, traversons les voies ferrées et passons devant l’église St. Johannis. À la croisée des chemins, nous tournons à gauche et entrons dans la Badergasse.</p> <p>Nous traversons le quartier résidentiel jusqu’au carrefour où la rue monte et devient un chemin piétonnier. Nous arrivons ainsi à Einberg. Nous tournons à gauche, passons de nouveau près du cimetière et descendons près de l’église St. Marien en nous tenant à droite. Au bout de la rue, nous prenons à gauche, longeons la route et traversons la rivière Röden. Juste après, un chemin piétonnier et cyclable part à droite. Nous le suivons le long de la rivière jusqu’à la fin du parcours à Mönchröden.</p>
