Der Wildparkweg R7 führt uns durch den schönen Mönchrödener Forst. Der Weg ist sehr gut beschildert, sodass wir uns im Wald nicht verlaufen können. Die meiste Zeit laufen wir auf einem breiten Schotterweg, nur entlang der Teiche wird der Weg schmaler und kann sehr zugewachsen sein. Die Teiche entlang der Strecke bieten eine schöne Abwechslung zum Blick auf die Bäume. An der Kaulbergquelle befindet sich ein Picknicktisch, sodass wir eine kurze Rast einlegen können. Auf der Strecke hinter der Kaulbergquelle ist immer wieder das Plätschern eines Baches zu hören. Wir sollten daher mit offenen Ohren und Augen durch den Wald spazieren und möglichst leise sein, vielleicht entdecken wir dann auch das eine oder andere Tier.

Le parcours du parc animalier R7 nous fait traverser la belle forêt de Mönchröden. Le chemin est très bien balisé, ce qui nous évite de nous perdre dans la forêt. La plupart du temps, nous marchons sur un large chemin de gravier, seule la portion le long des étangs devient plus étroite et peut être très envahie par la végétation. Les étangs le long du parcours offrent une agréable variation par rapport à la vue sur les arbres. À la source Kaulberg, il y a une table de pique-nique où l'on peut s'arrêter brièvement. Le long du parcours derrière la source Kaulberg, on entend souvent le clapotis d'un ruisseau. Il faut donc se promener dans la forêt à l'écoute et en observant bien, et rester aussi silencieux que possible, on découvrira peut-être quelques animaux.

The Wildparkweg R7 takes us through the beautiful Mönchrödener Forest. The path is very well signposted, so we cannot get lost in the forest. Most of the time we walk on a wide gravel path; only along the ponds does the path become narrower and can be very overgrown. The ponds along the route offer a nice change from the view of the trees. At the Kaulbergquelle, there is a picnic table where we can take a short break. Along the route behind the Kaulbergquelle, the babbling of a brook can repeatedly be heard. We should therefore walk through the forest with open ears and eyes and be as quiet as possible; perhaps then we will also discover one or two animals.

thuecat:directions @de Wir starten unsere Tour am Parkplatz am Kreisverkehr im Norden Mönchrödens. Wir folgen der Straße und unterqueren die B4 und gehen in den Wald hinein. Ziemlich zu Beginn der Strecke passieren wir eine Ausbuchtung, die wir alternativ als Wanderparkplatz nutzen können. Sanft bergauf gehend erreichen wir die ersten Teiche. Rechts und links des Weges kann man verschiedene Pflanzen bestimmen und mit etwas Glück sieht man das eine oder andere Wildtier. Nach einer engen Rechtskurve geht es zügiger bergauf, wir wandern kurze Zeit in südliche Richtung und wenden uns mit einer Linkskurve wieder nach Norden. An einer Wegkreuzung nehmen wir den rechten Weg und erreichen nach knapp 4 km die Kaulbergquelle. Hier bietet sich eine kurze Pause auf der Bank an, ehe wir unsere Tour fortsetzen. Wir überqueren einen kleinen Bach in einer Rechtskurve. Dieser ist vor lauter Gestrüpp und Bewuchs zwar nicht wirklich zu sehen, aber das Plätschern des Wassers begleitet uns eine Weile. Nach rechts können wir nun in das Bachtal blicken, das sehr zugewachsen ist. Es lässt sich jedoch erahnen, dass hier am Grund ein Bach fließt. Nach einer Weile kommen wir an einigen kleinen Teichen vorbei und dahinter ist auch der Bach in seinem Tal durch die Bäume sichtbar. Wir gehen an den Teichen des Tiefbrunnens Häslichgraben vorbei, die wir rechts von uns sehen. Der breite Schotterweg wird zu einem weichen Wiesenweg und schließlich zu einem schmalen, zugewachsenen Pfad (Vorsicht Brennnesseln!). Nachdem wir uns durch den Pfad gekämpft haben, erreichen wir eine Wegkreuzung und folgen nun wieder einem breiteren Schotterweg zum Krötenteich. Dieser ist ein größeres Gewässer im Mönchrödener Forst. Wir umrunden den Teich halb und halten uns dazu an der Wegkreuzung rechts. Der Weg führt uns nun vorbei an einem weiteren Wanderparkplatz und schließlich hinaus aus dem Wald. Wir erreichen eine Straße, der wir nach rechts folgen. Die Asphaltstraße verläuft parallel zur B4 und verfügt über keinen Fußweg, sodass wir äußerst vorsichtig am Straßenrand laufen und nach gut 1 km wieder unseren Ausgangspunkt am Kreisverkehr erreichen.

Après un virage serré à droite, la montée s'accélère un peu, nous marchons un court moment vers le sud, puis tournons à gauche pour revenir vers le nord. À une croisée des chemins, nous prenons la voie de droite et atteignons après environ 4 km la source Kaulberg. Une courte pause sur un banc est possible ici avant de poursuivre notre parcours. Nous traversons un petit ruisseau au niveau d'un virage à droite. Ce dernier n'est guère visible à cause des broussailles et de la végétation, mais le bruit de l'eau nous accompagne un moment. À droite, on peut désormais voir la vallée du ruisseau, très envahie aussi. On peut toutefois deviner qu'un ruisseau coule au fond. Après un moment, nous passons devant quelques petits étangs et, derrière, le ruisseau est aussi visible dans sa vallée à travers les arbres. Nous passons les étangs du puits profond Häslichgraben que nous voyons à droite de nous. Le large chemin de gravier devient un chemin d'herbe doux, puis un sentier étroit et envahi (attention aux orties!). Après avoir lutté sur ce sentier, nous atteignons une croisée des chemins et suivons à nouveau un chemin de gravier plus large jusqu'à l'étang aux crapauds. Il s'agit d'une étendue d'eau plus grande dans la forêt de Mönchröden. Nous en faisons le tour à moitié et, à la croisée des chemins, nous prenons à droite. Le chemin nous mène à présent devant un autre parking de randonnée et finalement hors de la forêt. Nous atteignons une route que nous suivons vers la droite. Cette route asphaltée longe la B4 en parallèle et ne possède pas de trottoir, il faut donc marcher très prudemment sur le bord de la route. Après environ 1 km, nous revenons à notre point de départ au rond-point.

Quite early on in the route, we pass a lay-by that can alternatively be used as a hiking parking lot. Going gently uphill, we reach the first ponds. On the right and left of the path, various plants can be identified, and with some luck, you may see one or the other wild animal. After a tight right curve, the path goes uphill more briskly. We hike for a short time in a southerly direction and then turn back north with a left curve. At a crossroads, we take the right path and reach the Kaulbergquelle after almost 4 km. Here, a short break on the bench is recommended before continuing our route. We cross a small brook on a right curve. Although it is not really visible due to thickets and overgrowth, the babbling of the water accompanies us for a while. To the right, we can now look into the valley of the brook, which is very overgrown. However, it can be guessed that a brook flows at its base. After a while, we pass some small ponds, and behind them, the brook in its valley is also visible through the trees. We walk past the ponds of the Tiefbrunnen Hässlichgraben, which we see to our right. The wide gravel path becomes a soft meadow path and finally a narrow, overgrown trail (beware of nettles!). After struggling through the path, we reach a crossroads and now follow a wider gravel path to the toad pond. This is a larger body of water in the Mönchrödener Forest. We circle half of the pond and keep right at the crossroads. The path now leads us past another hiking parking lot and finally out of the forest. We reach a road, which we follow to the right. The asphalt road runs parallel to the B4 and has no sidewalk, so we walk extremely carefully at the roadside and return to our starting point at the roundabout after about 1 km.

Rechts und links des Weges kann man verschiedene Pflanzen bestimmen und mit etwas Glück sieht man das eine oder andere Wildtier.</p> <p>Nach einer engen Rechtskurve geht es zügiger bergauf, wir wandern kurze Zeit in südliche Richtung und wenden uns mit einer Linkskurve wieder nach Norden. An einer Wegkreuzung nehmen wir den rechten Weg und erreichen nach knapp 4 km die Kaulbergquelle. Hier bietet sich eine kurze Pause auf der Bank an, ehe wir unsere Tour fortsetzen.</p> <p>Wir überqueren einen kleinen Bach in einer Rechtskurve. Dieser ist vor lauter Gestrüpp und Bewuchs zwar nicht wirklich zu sehen, aber das Plätschern des Wassers begleitet uns eine Weile. Nach rechts können wir nun in das Bachtal blicken, das sehr zugewachsen ist. Es lässt sich jedoch erahnen, dass hier am Grund ein Bach fließt.</p> <p>Nach einer Weile kommen wir an einigen kleinen Teichen vorbei und dahinter ist auch der Bach in seinem Tal durch die Bäume sichtbar. Wir gehen an den Teichen des Tiefbrunnens Häslichgraben vorbei, die wir rechts von uns sehen. Der breite Schotterweg wird zu einem weichen Wiesenweg und schließlich zu einem schmalen, zugewachsenen Pfad (Vorsicht Brennnesseln!).</p> <p>Nachdem wir uns durch den Pfad gekämpft haben, erreichen wir eine Wegkreuzung und folgen nun wieder einem breiteren Schotterweg zum Krötenteich. Dieser ist ein größeres Gewässer im Mönchrödener Forst. Wir umrunden den Teich halb und halten uns dazu an der Wegkreuzung rechts.</p> <p>Der Weg führt uns nun vorbei an einem weiteren Wanderparkplatz und schließlich hinaus aus dem Wald. Wir erreichen eine Straße, der wir nach rechts folgen. Die Asphaltstraße verläuft parallel zur B4 und verfügt über keinen Fußweg, sodass wir äußerst vorsichtig am Straßenrand laufen und nach gut 1 km wieder unseren Ausgangspunkt am Kreisverkehr erreichen.</p>

Une courte pause sur un banc est possible ici avant de poursuivre notre parcours.</p> <p>Nous traversons un petit ruisseau au niveau d'un virage à droite. Ce dernier n'est guère visible à cause des broussailles et de la végétation, mais le bruit de l'eau nous accompagne un moment. À droite, on peut désormais voir la vallée du ruisseau, très envahie aussi. On peut toutefois deviner qu'un ruisseau coule au fond.</p> <p>Après un moment, nous passons devant quelques petits étangs et, derrière, le ruisseau est aussi visible dans sa vallée à travers les arbres. Nous passons les étangs du puits profond Häslichgraben que nous voyons à droite de nous. Le large chemin de gravier devient un chemin d'herbe doux, puis un sentier étroit et envahi (attention aux orties!).</p> <p>Après avoir lutté sur ce sentier, nous atteignons une croisée des chemins et suivons à nouveau un chemin de gravier plus large jusqu'à l'étang aux crapauds. Il s'agit d'une étendue d'eau plus grande dans la forêt de Mönchröden. Nous en faisons le tour à moitié et, à la croisée des chemins, nous prenons à droite.</p> <p>Le chemin nous mène à présent devant un autre parking de randonnée et finalement hors de la forêt. Nous atteignons une route que nous suivons vers la droite. Cette route asphaltée longe la B4 en parallèle et ne possède pas de trottoir, il faut donc marcher très prudemment sur le bord de la route. Après environ 1 km, nous revenons à notre point de départ au rond-point.</p>
