So unscheinbar die Tour auf den ersten Blick auch wirken mag – so schön präsentiert sich die Landschaft in der Einberger Schweiz. Dieses Waldstück trägt seinen Namen nicht ohne Grund, birgt es doch markante Felsformationen und eine wildromantische, tief eingeschnittene Bachklamm. Die Tour verläuft größtenteils über Forstwege und gepflegte Waldpfade. Der Weg in die Saulochklamm ist recht zugewachsen, ihn zu finden bedarf eines geübten Auges – oder einfach die Tourgeometrie herunterladen und sich navigieren lassen. Die restlichen Wege sind gerade nach stärkeren Regenfällen teils recht schlammig, daher bieten sich wasserfeste Schuhe mit guter Sohle an. Einkehrmöglichkeit entlang des Weges bietet die Thieracher Hütte mit Biergarten sowie das Gasthaus Rosenbauer in Rothenhof, das über einen kleinen Abstecher ins Dorf erreichbar ist.

As inconspicuous as the route may seem at first glance – the landscape in the Einberger Schweiz presents itself beautifully. This forest area bears its name for good reason, as it harbors striking rock formations and a wild romantic, deeply incised stream gorge. The route runs mostly over forest roads and well-maintained forest paths. The path into the Sauloch gorge is quite overgrown, finding it requires a practiced eye – or simply download the route geometry and navigate. The remaining paths can be quite muddy especially after heavy rainfalls, so waterproof shoes with good soles are recommended. Along the way there are places to stop such as the Thieracher hut with beer garden and the Rosenbauer inn in Rothenhof, which is reachable via a small detour into the village.

Aussi discrète que puisse paraître la randonnée au premier regard, le paysage dans la Suisse d'Einberg se présente de manière magnifique. Ce morceau de forêt ne porte pas son nom sans raison, car il abrite des formations rocheuses marquantes ainsi qu'une gorge de ruisseau profondément incisée et sauvagement romantique. La randonnée suit en grande partie des chemins forestiers et des sentiers forestiers entretenus. Le chemin vers la Saulochklamm est assez envahi par la végétation, il faut un œil exercé pour le trouver – ou simplement télécharger la géométrie du parcours et se laisser guider par un système de navigation. Les autres chemins sont parfois assez boueux, surtout après de fortes pluies, il est donc conseillé de porter des chaussures imperméables avec une bonne semelle. Des possibilités de restauration sont offertes le long du chemin à la cabane de Thierach avec sa bière en plein air ainsi qu'à la maison d'hôtes Rosenbauer à Rothenhof, accessible par un petit détour dans le village.

Vorbei an einem Gehöft geht es zunächst unter schönen Ausblicken bergauf zum Wald, in dem sich gleich zu Beginn der Tour einige landschaftliche Highlights verbergen: allen voran die Teufelskanzel, ein großer Fels mitten im Wald, der erklettert werden kann. Vorbei am Teufelsbrünnla, das man über einen kleinen Abstecher erreicht, führt unser Weg in einem Bogen zum Sportplatz Rothof – ebenfalls ein möglicher Einstiegspunkt in die Tour. Vorbei an kleinen Seen, die im Sommer durch das dichte Blätterwerk nur ungefähr ausgemacht werden können, führt unser Weg dann nach Thierach, einer kleinen Gemeinde mit Gasthaus zum Einkehren (Thieracher Hütte). Danach geht es bergab durch lichten Wald, bis wir schließlich den Eingang in die Saulochklamm erreichen. Gerade an heißen Sommertagen ist der Weg durch den kühlen Grund zu empfehlen. Dann geht es am Jugendzeltplatz vorbei, linker Hand warten noch ein paar Felsen darauf, von Neugierigen erklettert zu werden. Über den Forstweg gelangen wir schließlich zurück nach Spittelstein.

En passant par une ferme, on monte d’abord avec de belles vues vers la forêt, où se cachent dès le début de la randonnée quelques points forts paysagers : en premier lieu la Chaire du Diable, une grande roche en pleine forêt, qui peut être escaladée. En passant près du petit puits du Diable, accessible par un petit détour, notre chemin mène en arc de cercle vers le terrain de sport Rothof – également un point de départ possible de la randonnée. En passant par de petits lacs, que l’on peut à peine distinguer en été à cause du feuillage dense, notre chemin mène ensuite à Thierach, une petite commune avec une maison d’hôtes pour se restaurer (la cabane de Thierach). Ensuite, la descente se fait à travers une forêt clairsemée, jusqu’à ce que l’on atteigne finalement l’entrée de la Saulochklamm. Par temps chaud d’été, le chemin par le fond frais est recommandé.
