Die Gemeinde Grub am Forst liegt in der malerischen Hügellandschaft südlich von Coburg. Hier startet und endet unsere kurze aber landschaftlich sehr abwechslungsreiche Wanderung, die mit einem Kinderspielplatz und einer schönen Felsenlandschaft punkten kann und deswegen auch für Familien mit Kindern absolut zu empfehlen ist.

La commune de Grub am Forst est située dans un paysage vallonné pittoresque au sud de Coburg. C’est ici que commence et se termine notre courte mais très variée balade à pied qui bénéficie d’une aire de jeux pour enfants et d’un beau paysage rocheux, la rendant absolument recommandée aux familles avec enfants.

Diese befindet sich rechts am Weg und hat einen kleinen Spiel- und Bolzplatz – sie ist temporär bewirtschaftet.</p> <p>Wir gehen auf der Höhe entlang weiter und erreichen die Bergkante, von welcher wir einen schönen Blick auf Grub haben. Bergab geht es zur Straße, diese begehen wir ca. 100 m nach rechts zu einem Parkplatz. Vom Parkplatz führt rechts eine Hohlgasse in den Wald. Nach ca. 200 m stoßen wir auf den Augustafelsen. Nun windet sich ein kleiner Trampelpfad den Hang hinter zur Helenenquelle. Von dieser Quelle wurde mit einer Rohrleitung das erste Freibad befüllt.</p> <p>Nach Überquerung des Baches kommen wir wieder auf den anfänglichen Weg entlang der Bahnschiene und gehen nach links Richtung Ausgangspunkt.</p>
