Diese Tour besticht vor allem durch die vielen schönen Fernsichten über die Getreidefelder südlich von Coburg sowie die malerischen und unberührten Waldstücke. Von Schneckenlohe geht es in leichtem Auf- und Ab nach Marktgraitz, wo die schöne Kirche und mehrere Gasthäuser locken. An die einzige etwas schwierigere Stelle gelangen wir hinter der Sägemühle: ein schmaler und ziemlich steiler Pfad hinauf auf den Graitzer Berg. Oben angekommen können wir uns jedoch an einem schönen Rastplatz ausruhen und den Blick über Marktgraitz und das Tal der Steinach genießen. Ebenfalls auf dieser Tour liegen das kleine, landwirtschaftlich geprägte Örtchen Trübenbach und ein schöner Aussichtspunkt mit Ruhebank kurz bevor wir wieder Schneckenlohe erreichen.

Ce parcours séduit avant tout par les nombreuses belles vues lointaines sur les champs de céréales au sud de Coburg ainsi que par les pittoresques et intacts massifs forestiers. De Schneckenlohe, le chemin monte et descend légèrement jusqu'à Marktgraitz, où la belle église et plusieurs auberges sont attrayantes. Le seul passage un peu plus difficile se trouve derrière la scierie : un sentier étroit et assez pentu qui monte sur la colline de Graitzer. Arrivés en haut, nous pouvons nous reposer sur un beau point de repos et profiter de la vue sur Marktgraitz et la vallée de la Steinach. Aussi sur ce parcours se trouvent le petit village à caractère agricole de Trübenbach et un joli point de vue avec un banc avant de retrouver Schneckenlohe.

This route is especially impressive due to the many beautiful distant views over the grain fields south of Coburg as well as the picturesque and untouched forest areas. From Schneckenlohe, the path goes with easy ups and downs to Marktgraitz, where the beautiful church and several inns invite you. The only somewhat more difficult section is behind the sawmill: a narrow and quite steep path up to the Graitzer Berg. Once at the top, you can rest at a beautiful rest area and enjoy the view over Marktgraitz and the Steinach valley. Also on this route lie the small, agriculturally shaped village of Trübenbach and a nice viewpoint with a bench shortly before returning to Schneckenlohe.

Wir folgen nämlich nicht dem Forstweg, sondern biegen nach links auf einen etwas schlecht sichtbaren Pfad ab, der uns in den Wald hineinführt.</p> <p>Wir folgen im Wald stets der Beschilderung roter Kreis auf weißem Grund, bis wir schließlich wieder offenes Gelände vor Marktgraitz erreichen. Über den Gerichtsweg geht es zur Hauptstraße, bald links in die Schulstraße und vorbei an der Kirche Heiligste Dreifaltigkeit. Im unteren Dorf angekommen überqueren wir die Hauptstraße und gehen am Bach entlang bis zur Schneidmühle. </p> <p>Hinter dem Sägewerk gibt es rechts wieder einen Pfad zu finden, der uns recht steil zum Graitzer Berg hinaufbringt. Eine Pause am Aussichtspunkt mit Kreuz darf natürlich nicht fehlen. Über Schotterwege geht es dann vorbei am Kreuzstein (Rastplatz) und entlang vieler Getreidefelder nach Trübenbach. Wir durchqueren den Ort und halten uns schließlich links, um wieder in den Wald Richtung Schneckenlohe zu gelangen.</p> <p>Wir folgen weiter der bekannten Beschilderung, biegen bald rechts in einen Waldpfad ab und haben nach wenigen Minuten den Waldrand erreicht. Nun geht es – erneut zwischen Getreidefeldern – bergauf zu einem hübschen Rastpunkt oberhalb von Schneckenlohe und dann in etwa 10 min zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.</p>

A break at the viewpoint with the cross is of course not to be missed. It then goes past the Kreuzstein (rest area) and along many grain fields to Trübenbach. We cross the village and finally keep left to enter the forest again towards Schneckenlohe.</p> <p>We continue to follow the familiar signage, soon turning right onto a forest path and after a few minutes reach the forest edge. Now it goes - again between grain fields - uphill to a pretty rest stop above Schneckenlohe and then back to the starting point in about 10 minutes.</p>

En bas du village, nous traversons la rue principale et longeons le ruisseau jusqu'à la Schneidmühle. </p> <p>Derrière la scierie, on trouve à nouveau un sentier à droite, qui nous conduit assez pentu sur la colline de Graitzer. Une pause au point de vue avec une croix est bien sûre indispensable. Par des chemins de gravier, nous passons ensuite devant le Kreuzstein (point de repos) et longeons de nombreux champs de céréales jusqu'à Trübenbach. Nous traversons le village et prenons enfin à gauche pour retourner dans la forêt en direction de Schneckenlohe.</p> <p>Nous continuons à suivre la signalisation connue, tournons bientôt à droite sur un sentier forestier et atteignons après quelques minutes la lisière de la forêt. Maintenant, il faut monter – encore entre les champs de céréales – jusqu'à un joli lieu de repos au-dessus de Schneckenlohe, puis en environ 10 minutes revenir au point de départ.</p>
