Der Planetenweg im Umland von Coburg überzeugt nicht nur landschaftlich, sondern auch durch seine informativen Stationen entlang des Weges. Ausgehend von der Sonne sind im Maßstab 1:850.000.000 die Planeten unseres Sonnensystems Merkur, Venus, die Erde, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptun und Pluto aufgereiht. An den jeweiligen Stationen des Wanderwegs erfahrt ihr Details zum Durchmesser, zur Entfernung zur Sonne und Umlaufzeit des Planeten. Der Planetenweg führt dabei von Untersiemau nach Bad Staffelstein und durchquert eine vielseitige Landschaft. Entdeckt die Ortschaften rund um Coburg und genießt die weite Aussicht von Kloster Banz. Von schattigen Wäldern geht es zu sonnenverwöhnten Streuobstwiesen.

The planet trail around Coburg impresses not only with its landscape but also with its informative stations along the path. schema:value @de Die Tour startet an der Sonne in Untersiemau. Von dort geht es den Hang bergab entlang der verschiedenen Planetenstationen. Geradeaus geht es zuerst rechts an der Kirche vorbei und dann am Wasserschloss Untersiemau. Wir folgen der Kurve und wandern dann weiter geradeaus aus dem Ort hinaus. Auf der Straße wandern wir entlang der weiten Felder, die ganz im Zeichen des Naturschutzes stehen. Wir kommen an mehreren Bienenstöcken und an einem schönen Picknickplatz vorbei. Wir orientieren uns an der Beschilderung und folgen dem blauen Kreis des Planetenwegs, biegen dafür scharf links ab. Zwischen Maisfeldern und Wäldern geht es weiter bergauf in südlicher Richtung. Nach einem weiteren Stück zwischen weiten Feldern erreichen wir nun den schattigen Abschnitt durch den Banzer Wald. Auch hier ist die Beschilderung wieder schön deutlich und wir können uns an den Wegweisern orientieren. Wir wandern auf dem einzigen Weg weiter Richtung Süden und halten uns bei den Abzweigungen links. Am Ende des Waldabschnitts erreichen wir Kloster Banz. Beeindruckend thront es über der Region Coburg. Wir folgen der Straße nach rechts und wandern den steilen Gehweg entlang der Straße bergab durch den Ort Neubanz hindurch.

Tout droit, on passe d'abord à droite de l'église puis du château d'eau d'Untersiemau. Nous suivons la courbe et continuons tout droit hors du village. Sur la route, nous longeons les vastes champs entièrement dédiés à la protection de la nature. Nous passons devant plusieurs ruches et un joli endroit pour pique-niquer. Nous suivons la signalisation et le cercle bleu du sentier des planètes, en tournant brusquement à gauche. Entre les champs de maïs et les forêts, nous continuons à monter en direction du sud. Après un autre tronçon entre les vastes champs, nous atteignons la section ombragée à travers la forêt de Banz. Là encore, la signalisation est claire et nous pouvons suivre les panneaux. The street leads to an intersection where we turn left and walk on the footpath through Unnersdorf. For this, we follow the main street. We cross the Main River and get onto the foot and cycle path. We follow this path straight ahead. We pass the large rehabilitation center of Bad Staffelstein and take the underpass at the roundabout to the train station. thuecat:directions @de Die Tour startet an der Sonne in Untersiemau. Von dort geht es den Hang bergab entlang der verschiedenen Planetenstationen. Geradeaus geht es zuerst rechts an der Kirche vorbei und dann am Wasserschloss Untersiemau. Wir folgen der Kurve und wandern dann weiter geradeaus aus dem Ort hinaus. Auf der Straße wandern wir entlang der weiten Felder, die ganz im Zeichen des Naturschutzes stehen. Wir kommen an mehreren Bienenstöcken und an einem schönen Picknickplatz vorbei. Wir orientieren uns an der Beschilderung und folgen dem blauen Kreis des Planetenwegs, biegen dafür scharf links ab. Zwischen Maisfeldern und Wäldern geht es weiter bergauf in südlicher Richtung. Nach einem weiteren Stück zwischen weiten Feldern erreichen wir nun den schattigen Abschnitt durch den Banzer Wald. Auch hier ist die Beschilderung wieder schön deutlich und wir können uns an den Wegweisern orientieren. Wir wandern auf dem einzigen Weg weiter Richtung Süden und halten uns bei den Abzweigungen links. Am Ende des Waldabschnitts erreichen wir Kloster Banz. Beeindruckend thront es über der Region Coburg. Wir folgen der Straße nach rechts und wandern den steilen Gehweg entlang der Straße bergab durch den Ort Neubanz hindurch.
