Der Schatzsucherweg führt uns von Untersiemau über Weißenbrunn am Forst zum Adolf Stegner Brunnen im Wald nördlich von Buch am Forst und dann über Birkach am Forst zurück nach Untersiemau. Unterwegs begegnen uns mehrere Informationstafeln mit Siemauer Sagengeschichten. Zum Teil sind die Sagen auch weiter ausgeschmückt, zum Beispiel mit einem Hexenhaus oder einer Teufelsskulptur. Manchmal steht jedoch auch nur die Tafel in die schöne Landschaft eingebettet. Man sollte also unbedingt mehr Zeit einplanen, um die Sagen in Ruhe zu lesen und den Weg dadurch mitzuerleben. Der Wanderweg führt größtenteils durch Felder, daher sollte man an heißen Tagen an genügend Wasser und Sonnenschutz denken oder die Tour auf die kühleren Morgen- oder Abendstunden verlegen. Nur beim Adolf Stegner Brunnen geht es ein kurzes Stück durch den Wald und wir durchqueren einige Orte, in denen man zumindest eine kühle Erfrischung in einem Gasthaus finden kann.

Le sentier des chercheurs de trésors nous mène d'Untersiemau via Weißenbrunn am Forst jusqu'à la fontaine Adolf Stegner dans la forêt au nord de Buch am Forst, puis via Birkach am Forst de retour à Untersiemau. En chemin, nous rencontrons plusieurs panneaux d'informations avec des histoires légendaires de Siemau. Parfois, les légendes sont également enrichies, par exemple avec une maison de sorcière ou une sculpture de diable. Parfois, le panneau est simplement intégré dans le beau paysage. Il faut donc absolument prévoir plus de temps pour lire les légendes tranquillement et ainsi vivre le parcours. Le sentier de randonnée passe principalement à travers des champs, il convient donc, par temps chaud, de penser à suffisamment d'eau et de protection solaire ou de décaler le parcours aux heures plus fraîches du matin ou du soir. Ce n'est qu'à la fontaine Adolf Stegner que le chemin traverse un court tronçon de forêt et quelques villages où l'on peut au moins trouver une boisson fraîche dans une auberge.

The Treasure Hunter's Trail takes us from Untersiemau via Weißenbrunn am Forst to the Adolf Stegner Fountain in the forest north of Buch am Forst and then via Birkach am Forst back to Untersiemau. Along the way, we encounter several information boards with Siemau legend stories. Some of the legends are further embellished, for example with a witch’s house or a devil sculpture. Sometimes, however, only the board is embedded in the beautiful landscape. Therefore, you should definitely plan more time to read the legends calmly and thus experience the trail. The hiking trail mostly leads through fields, so on hot days you should think about bringing enough water and sun protection or shift the route to the cooler morning or evening hours. Only at the Adolf Stegner Fountain does the path briefly go through the forest, and we pass through some villages where you can find at least a cool refreshment in a guesthouse.

Am Ende der Straße biegen wir links ab und folgen nun auch dem Planetenweg. Die Stationen Mars, Erde und Mond, Venus und Sonne liegen auf unserer Strecke.</p> <p>Dann biegen wir nach rechts ab und verlassen den Planetenweg. Wir durchqueren nun ein Neubaugebiet und biegen an dessen Ende links in die Weißenbrunner Straße ab. Ein kurzes Stück geht es parallel zur Straße, dann nehmen wir den nach links abzweigenden Weg durch die Felder und erspähen eine ICE-Brücke in der Ferne. Dann biegen wir rechts ab und kommen in den Ort Weißenbrunn am Forst. Im Ort biegen wir rechts auf den Obersiemauer Weg ab und folgen dann wieder einem Weg nach rechts in die Felder.</p> <p>Wir steigen leicht bergauf, haben freien Blick auf die ICE-Brücke und erreichen bald die erste Sagenstation. Neben der Informationstafel zur Sage „Siemauer Hexen-Hährle“ steht ein kleines, begehbares Hexenhaus. Man kann auch ein Erinnerungsfoto von sich als Hexe schießen. Dann geht es weiter auf unserem Weg durch die Felder, wir überqueren die Bahnschienen auf einer Brücke und erreichen an der nächsten Wegkreuzung wieder eine Infotafel, diesmal zur Sage „Das güldene Hufeisen“.</p> <p>Nun ist der Weg nicht mehr weit bis zu einer Wegkreuzung, an der wir den Weg geradeaus wählen, um später auf dem linken Weg zurückzukehren. Wir besteigen nun den Altenberg nördlich von Buch am Forst, wenden uns am Ende des Weges nach links und gehen dann durch den Wald wieder zurück. Dabei passieren wir den Adolf Stegner Brunnen, einen schönen Rastplatz. Aus dem Wald herauskommend biegen wir nach links ab und kehren zurück zu unserer Wegkreuzung.</p> <p>Wir wandern geradeaus weiter und erreichen schon bald die nächste Wegkreuzung mit der nächsten Sage. Hier erwartet uns die Skulptur eines Teufels und dazu die Sage „Der Teufel auf dem Kreuzweg“. Es geht weiter durch die Felder, wir biegen links ab und durchqueren den kleinen Ort Obersiemau. Hinter dem Ort und mit dem nächsten Ortsschild schon im Blick biegen wir links in einen kleinen Weg ab und laufen bis zu einem See. Hier finden wir die Infotafel zur Sage „Die Otternkönigin“.</p> <p>Wir kehren zurück zur Straße, biegen links ab und erreichen nun Birkach am Forst. An einem kleinen Platz mit Stein zur Erinnerung an die Ortserneuerung finden wir die Infotafel zur Sage „Die „Weiße Frau“ im Birkacher Schloss“. An der Siemauer Straße biegen wir rechts ab und verlassen den Ort wieder. An der Kreuzung hinter dem Ort, an der wir rechts abbiegen, steht die Infotafel zur Sage „Der Schatzgräber auf der Kulch“.</p> <p>Nun wandern wir wieder durch die Felder, passieren den Stramberg links von uns und erreichen die Sagentafel „Wie der Obersiemauer Schmied zu seiner Frau kam“. Von hier blicken wir auf den Ort Obersiemau. Wir bewegen uns nun auf die Bahnschienen zu, unterqueren diese und stehen vor der Infotafel zur Sage „Die Pestquelle“. An der nächsten Wegkreuzung biegen wir links ab und folgen dem Forstweg dann nach rechts.</p> <p>Dann verlassen wir den Weg nach rechts, überqueren den Stemauer Mühlbach und biegen dahinter links ab. Wir erreichen nun das Freizeitgelände Am Schlossteich mit dem Spielplatz „Piratenbucht“ und Blick auf das Wasserschloss Untersiemau. Am Schlossteich befindet sich außerdem noch die Sagentafel „Siemauer Doppelhochzeit“. Hier können wir etwas verweilen.</p> <p>Schließlich wandern wir am Wasserschloss vorbei und folgen der Straße bis zum Friedhof. Dahinter biegen wir rechts ab und steigen nochmal steil bergauf. Oben kommen wir an der Coburger Straße an und folgen dieser bis zu unserem Ausgangspunkt am Wanderparkplatz.</p>

Là, nous attend une sculpture de diable et la légende « Le diable au carrefour ». Nous poursuivons à travers les champs, tournons à gauche et traversons le petit village d'Obersiemau. Derrière le village et déjà en vue du prochain panneau du village, nous tournons à gauche sur un petit chemin et marchons jusqu'à un étang. We now move towards the railway tracks, go under them, and stand in front of the information board for the legend “The Plague Spring.” At the next crossroads, we turn left and then follow the forest path to the right. Then we leave the path to the right, cross the Stemauer Mühlbach stream, and turn left behind it. We now reach the leisure area Am Schlossteich with the playground “Pirate Bay” and a view of the Untersiemau Water Castle. At Schlossteich, there is also the legend board “Siemau Double Wedding.” Here we can linger a little. Finally, we walk past the Water Castle and follow the street to the cemetery. Behind it, we turn right and climb steeply uphill once more. At the top, we arrive at Coburger Straße and follow it back to our starting point at the hiking car park.
