Bei dieser schönen Rundtour geht es von Coburg aus hinaus ins Grüne zum Goldbergsee. Eine hervorragende Möglichkeit, dem Trubel aus der Stadt zu entkommen und die Ruhe am See zu genießen. Zudem ist die Strecke ein gemütlicher Spaziergang geeignet für die ganze Familie. Der Anstieg oberhalb des Sees ist etwas steiler, doch wer die Mühe in kauf nehmen will, kann hier auch mit dem Kinderwagen gehen. Der Weg passiert verschiedene Stationen des Lebenswegs des fränkischen Lyrikers Friedrich Rückert, der bis 1866 seinen Lebensabend in Neuses bei Coburg verbrachte.

Lors de cette belle balade circulaire, on part de Coburg vers la nature jusqu'au lac Goldberg. Une excellente possibilité d’échapper à l’agitation de la ville et de profiter du calme au bord du lac. De plus, le parcours est une promenade tranquille adaptée à toute la famille. La montée au-dessus du lac est un peu plus raide, mais ceux qui veulent faire cet effort peuvent également passer avec une poussette. Le chemin passe par plusieurs étapes de la vie du poète franconien Friedrich Rückert, qui a passé sa retraite à Neuses près de Coburg jusqu'en 1866.

This beautiful circular route leads from Coburg out into the green to the Goldberg Lake. An excellent opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the peace by the lake. Furthermore, the route is a leisurely walk suitable for the whole family. The ascent above the lake is a bit steeper, but those willing to make the effort can also push a stroller here. The path passes various stations of the life journey of the Franconian poet Friedrich Rückert, who spent his final years in Neuses near Coburg until 1866.

Am Fitnessstudio mündet der Fußweg in die Austraße und wir biegen kurz vor der Hauptstraße links ab.</p> <p>Wir biegen rechts über die Brücke ab und überqueren die Hauptstraße geradeaus und folgen der Friedrich-Rückert-Straße und halten uns an der Kirche St. Matthäus links. Die Goldbergstraße führt aus dem Ort Neuses bei Coburg hinaus in Richtung See. An der Gabelung laufen wir nicht geradeaus weiter, sondern wandern zur Allee nach rechts. Dort wandern wir den Goldberg hinauf, folgen dabei der Beschilderung des Rückert Rundwegs. Alternativ zum Treppenaufgang gehen wir rechts und laufen die Linkskurve entlang und halten uns im Anschluss rechts. Der Wanderweg führt schließlich wieder aus dem Wald heraus und wir laufen geradeaus in Richtung Westen zum See.</p> <p>Linkshalten gehen wir am Ufer des Goldbergsees entlang und genießen die Aussicht auf die Veste Coburg im Hintergrund. Am Ende des Weges biegen wir rechts ab und wandern über die Schleusenbrücke. Wir biegen auf den Fußweg nach links ab, folgen wieder der Beschilderung am Ende der Brücke. Der Fußweg führt zum Friedrich-Rückert-Park, wo wir am Denkmal des Dichters und Orientalisten vorbeikommen.</p> <p>Wir verlassen den Park an der Rodacher Straße, gehen nach links und biegen an der nächsten Kreuzung wieder in den Weg Austraße ab, den wir bereits beim hinweg gegangen sind. Von hier aus geht es weiter auf demselben Weg zurück, am Fitnesscenter und den Sportplätzen vorbei, auf dem Fußweg zu unserem Ausgangspunkt.</p>

Le sentier de randonnée sort finalement de la forêt et nous continuons tout droit vers l’ouest en direction du lac.</p> <p>En gardant la gauche, nous longeons la rive du lac Goldberg et profitons de la vue sur la forteresse de Coburg en arrière-plan. À la fin du chemin, nous tournons à droite et traversons le pont des écluses. Nous prenons à gauche le sentier pédestre, suivons de nouveau la signalisation à la fin du pont. Le sentier mène au parc Friedrich-Rückert où nous passons devant le monument du poète et orientaliste.</p> <p>Nous quittons le parc par la Rodacher Straße, allons à gauche et, à la prochaine intersection, tournons à nouveau sur le chemin Austraße que nous avons déjà emprunté au départ. Wir biegen auf den Fußweg nach links ab, folgen wieder der Beschilderung am Ende der Brücke. Der Fußweg führt zum Friedrich-Rückert-Park, wo wir am Denkmal des Dichters und Orientalisten vorbeikommen. Wir verlassen den Park an der Rodacher Straße, gehen nach links und biegen an der nächsten Kreuzung wieder in den Weg Austraße ab, den wir bereits beim hinweg gegangen sind. Von hier aus geht es weiter auf demselben Weg zurück, am Fitnesscenter und den Sportplätzen vorbei, auf dem Fußweg zu unserem Ausgangspunkt.

Nous tournons à droite sur le pont et traversons la rue principale tout droit en suivant la Friedrich-Rückert-Straße, puis nous gardons la gauche à l’église St. Matthäus. La Goldbergstraße mène hors du village de Neuses près de Coburg vers le lac. Au carrefour, nous ne continuons pas tout droit, mais marchons vers l’allée à droite. Là, nous montons la Goldberg en suivant la signalisation du parcours Rückert. Comme alternative à l’escalier, nous prenons à droite et suivons le virage à gauche, puis gardons à nouveau la droite. Le sentier de randonnée sort finalement de la forêt et nous continuons tout droit vers l’ouest en direction du lac. En gardant la gauche, nous longeons la rive du lac Goldberg et profitons de la vue sur la forteresse de Coburg en arrière-plan. À la fin du chemin, nous tournons à droite et traversons le pont des écluses. Nous prenons à gauche le sentier pédestre, suivons de nouveau la signalisation à la fin du pont. Le sentier mène au parc Friedrich-Rückert où nous passons devant le monument du poète et orientaliste. Nous quittons le parc par la Rodacher Straße, allons à gauche et, à la prochaine intersection, tournons à nouveau sur le chemin Austraße que nous avons déjà emprunté au départ. Ensuite, le retour se fait sur le même chemin, en passant par le centre de fitness et les terrains de sport, sur le sentier piéton vers notre point de départ.

We go under the bridge and follow the path along the green strip and the forest, passing the sports grounds. At the fitness studio, the footpath merges into Austraße and we turn left just before the main road. We turn right over the bridge and cross the main road straight ahead, then follow Friedrich-Rückert-Straße and keep left at St. Matthäus Church. Goldbergstraße leads out of the village of Neuses near Coburg in the direction of the lake. At the fork, we do not continue straight but walk to the avenue on the right. There we walk up Goldberg, following the signage of the Rückert Circular Route. Alternatively to the stairway, we go right and take the left curve, then keep right afterwards. The hiking trail finally leads out of the forest again, and we walk straight west towards the lake. Keeping to the left, we walk along the shore of Goldberg Lake and enjoy the view of Veste Coburg in the background. At the end of the path, we turn right and walk over the lock bridge. We turn left onto the footpath, again following the signage at the end of the bridge. The footpath leads to Friedrich Rückert Park, where we pass the monument of the poet and orientalist. We leave the park at Rodacher Straße, turn left and at the next junction turn back onto Austraße, which we have already taken on the way out. From here, we continue back the same way, past the fitness center and sports grounds, on the footpath to our starting point.
