Vous voyez aussi depuis ce point sur la petite commune de Hohenwarte et l’imposant barrage avec ses centrales électriques, sous un angle tout à fait différent. Laissez-vous enchanter par cette étendue et profitez des vues depuis des aires de repos grandes et petites. Nestled between slate and forests, the reservoir winds into the horizon before disappearing into the mountains. At your feet lies the Eichicht balancing basin with its wall. You also experience the small village of Hohenwarte and the massive dam with its power plants from here, from a completely different perspective. Let yourself be enchanted by this expanse and enjoy the views from larger and smaller rest areas. In the village of Hohenwarte, from the church you have the option to join our experience route H4. Romatische Pfade und natürliche Waldwege schlengeln sich durch einen wunderschönen Mischwald. Immerwieder lässt das grüne Dickicht einen Blick auf das Saaletal zu und versüßt Ihnen den Aufstieg zum höchsten Punkt von 504m. Atemberaubende Aussichten geben den Blick über den Verlauf der Saale und die Berge frei. Eingebettet zwischen Schiefer und Wälder schlengelt sich der Stausee bis in den Horizont, um dann in den Bergen zu verschwinden. Ihnen zu Füßen liegt das Ausgleichbecken Eichicht mit seiner Mauer. Auch die kleine Gemeinde Hohenwarte und die gewaltige Staumauer mit seinen Kraftwerken erleben Sie von hier oben, aus einem ganz anderen Blickwinkel. Lassen Sie sich verzaubern von dieser Weite und genießen Sie die Aussichten von größeren und kleineren Rastplätzen aus. Im Ort Hohenwarte haben Sie ab der Kirche die Möglichkeit auf unsere Erlebnisrunde H4 zu gelangen. Start: Parkplatz  "Waldhotel am Stausee"
