thuecat:directions @de Ausgangspunkt Das Craulaer Kreuz befindet sich direkt hinter dem Sitzbankrondell auf einem kleinen Hügel. Ursprünglich war vom Craulaer Kreuz nur der Flurname "vor dem Kreuz" geblieben. Heute steht an der Stelle ein nach überlieferten Zeichnungen und Fotos nachgebildetes Steinkreuz. Die eingearbeitete Zahlenfolge 157 weist auf eine Entstehungszeit zwischen 1570 und 1579 hin; es wurde wahrscheinlich im Gedenken an einen an dieser Stelle Verunglückten aufgestellt. Buchenwald Vom Craulaer Kreuz geht es geradeaus in den Wald. Hier bildet fast flächendeckend das Bingelkraut tief dunkelgrün einen markanten Gegensatz zum silbrig schimmernden Grau der Buchenstämme. Aufgrund der eingeschlechtlichen Blüten wird in alten Kräuterbüchern das Bingelkraut als "Männlein" und "Weiblein" bezeichnet. Wenn Frauen nach der "Mondzeit" die weibliche Blüte verwendeten, bekamen sie ein Mädchen, bei der männlichen Blüte einen Jungen - einen Bengel eben. Im Wald gegenüber zeichnet sich deutlich eine Erhebung ab - der Otterbühl. Der Weg biegt nach links und führt in ein Tal hinab. Otterbühl Am sagenumwobene Otterbühl (465 m ü. NN) befand sich einst ein Jagdhaus, in dem sich die Episode "Der Ritter vom Otterbühl" zugetragen haben soll. Ein tatendurstiger Jüngling, der Ritter vom Otterbühl, soll im Jagdhaus in dunklen Nächten mit drei Mädchen getroffen haben, die ihn liebten. Als diese Verhältnisse ruchbar wurden und »man« sich empörte, musste der liebende Ritter vom Otterbühl fliehen. Bevor der Weg nach rechts in das Lange Tal biegt, ist linker Hand ein ehemaliger Steinbruch zu sehen. Nach und nach schlängelt sich der Weg in das Lange Tal hinab auf den "Gänserasen". Langes Tal Im Langen Tal führt der Weg den Talgrund hinauf. Im Langen Tal (Mittellauf) dominieren die typischen Baumarten des Schluchtwaldes – Esche und Ahorn. Im Tal befindet sich ein weiterer Steinbruch. Steinbrüche Steinbrüche sind "Fenster" in den Untergrund; deutlich kann man stark geklüftete Muschelkalkschichten erkennen. Das Material aus den Steinbrüchen im Hainich wurde hauptsächlich für den Wegebau vor Ort eingesetzt. Immer weiter geht es das Tal hinauf, vorbei an Sitzbänken, bis man wieder den Fahrweg erreicht. Der Wanderer folgt dem Weg nach rechts und biegt nach der Schranke am Pfaffenrain nach links. Am Pfaffenrain entlang Um den Pfaffenrain kreuzen sich noch heute fünf Wege, die aber nur teilweise auf historische Wege zurückgeführt werden können – der Rennstieg von Eigenrieden kommend, der "Altzeitrennweg" über Craula nach Bad Langensalza führend, der "Neuzeitrennweg" Richtung Alter Berg nach Behringen, der Fahrweg Richtung Ihlefeld und der Verbindungsweg zur Thiemsburg. Am Waldrand sind die Reste des ehemaligen Jagdhauses "Am Pfaffenrain" auffindbar. Durch den Wald hindurch, dann nach rechts, und der Wanderer gelangt zurück zum Craulaer Kreuz.

If women used the female blossom after the "moon time", they had a girl, if they used the male blossom, they had a boy.In the forest vis-à-vis you can clearly see an elevation - the Otterbühl. The path turns left and leads down into a valley. Otterbühl At the legendary Otterbühl (465 m above sea level) there was once a hunting lodge, where the tale "The Knight of Otterbühl" is said to have happened. A young man with a thirst for action, the Knight of Otterbühl, is said to have met in the hunting lodge on dark nights with three girls who loved him. When these relations became notorious and "one" became indignant, the loving knight of Otterbühl had to flee. Before the path turns right into the Lange Tal, a former quarry can be seen on the left. Gradually, the path winds down into the Lange Tal onto the "Gänserasen". Langes Tal (Long Valley) In the Langes Tal the path leads up the valley bottom. The Long Valley (middle course) is dominated by the typical tree species of the canyon forest - ash and maple. The whimsically shaped hornbeams also catch the eye, stretching their branches into the sky like knobbly gnomes. In spring, carpets of flowers decorate the valley floor. There is another quarry in the valley. Quarries Quarries are "windows" into the subsoil; you can clearly see strongly fissured shell limestone layers. The material from the quarries in the Hainich was mainly used for local road construction. The trail continues up the valley, past benches, until you reach the road again. The hiker follows the road to the right and turns left after the barrier at Pfaffenrain. Along the Pfaffenrain Around the Pfaffenrain, five paths still cross today, but only some of them can be traced back to historical paths - the Rennstieg coming from Eigenrieden, the "Altzeitrennweg" leading via Craula to Bad Langensalza, the "Neuzeitrennweg" in the direction of Alter Berg to Behringen, the driveway in the direction of Ihlefeld and the connecting path to Thiemsburg. Aufgrund der eingeschlechtlichen Blüten wird in alten Kräuterbüchern das Bingelkraut als "Männlein" und "Weiblein" bezeichnet. Wenn Frauen nach der "Mondzeit" die weibliche Blüte verwendeten, bekamen sie ein Mädchen, bei der männlichen Blüte einen Jungen - einen Bengel eben.</p> <p>Im Wald gegenüber zeichnet sich deutlich eine Erhebung ab - der Otterbühl. Der Weg biegt nach links und führt in ein Tal hinab.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Otterbühl</strong></p> <p>Am sagenumwobene Otterbühl (465 m ü. NN) befand sich einst ein Jagdhaus, in dem sich die Episode "Der Ritter vom Otterbühl" zugetragen haben soll. Ein tatendurstiger Jüngling, der Ritter vom Otterbühl, soll im Jagdhaus in dunklen Nächten mit drei Mädchen getroffen haben, die ihn liebten. Als diese Verhältnisse ruchbar wurden und »man« sich empörte, musste der liebende Ritter vom Otterbühl fliehen.</p> <p>Bevor der Weg nach rechts in das Lange Tal biegt, ist linker Hand ein ehemaliger Steinbruch zu sehen.
