La randonnée urbaine « Sur les traces de Herbert Roth » couvre environ 6 kilomètres et huit étapes. Nous commençons à l'office de tourisme avec la chanson « Rennsteiglied », écoutons sur la place du marché la chanson « Autour du forgeron d’armes de Suhl », découvrons dans le Steinweg le salon de coiffure où Herbert Roth a travaillé et écoutons ici le titre « Tu peux yodler ». À la maison de Waltraut Schulz au 10 Haselweg, nous écoutons le titre « Tout le monde ne peut pas être né à Suhl ». La prochaine étape est la maison parentale de Herbert Roth au 4 Löffeltal et le titre « Petite maison dans la forêt ». La maison de Herbert Roth à la Freiligrathstraße 18, où vit aujourd’hui la fille de Herbert Roth, Karin Roth, nous accueille avec « Les trois enfants de la forêt de Thuringe ». Au cimetière principal résonne « Qui ne connaît pas les montagnes ». La dernière étape est à nouveau l'office de tourisme, avec la « Chanson des pilotes de course de Suhl » et la « Marche des tireurs de Suhl ». Vous pouvez également visiter ici le musée des armes et le musée des véhicules.

The city walk "In the Footsteps of Herbert Roth" leads us over about 6 kilometers and eight stations. We start at the Tourist Information with the "Rennsteig Song," listen to the song "Around the Suhl Gunsmith" at the marketplace, get to know the hairdressing shop on Steinweg where Herbert Roth worked and hear the title "You can yodel" there. At the home of Waltraut Schulz on Haselweg 10, we listen to the title "Not everyone can be born in Suhl." The next station is the parental home of Herbert Roth at Löffeltal 4 and the title "Little House in the Forest." Herbert Roth's home at Freiligrathstraße 18, where today Herbert Roth's daughter Karin Roth lives, welcomes us with the "Three Children of the Thuringian Forest." At the main cemetery, the song "Who does not know the mountains" is played. The last station is again the Tourist Information, with the "Suhl Racing Driver's Song" and the "Suhl Shooting March." Here you can also visit the Weapons Museum and the Vehicle Museum.

Die Stadt-Wanderung "Auf den Spuren von Herbert Roth" führt uns über ca. 6 Kilometer und acht Stationen. Wir starten an der Tourist Information mit dem "Rennsteiglied", hören auf dem Marktplatz das Lied "Rund um den Suhler Waffenschmied", lernen im Steinweg das Friseurgeschäft kennen, in dem Herbert Roth gearbeitet hat und hören hier den Titel "Du kannst jodeln". Am Wohnhaus von Waltraut Schulz im Haselweg 10 hören wir den Titel "Nicht jeder kann in Suhl geboren sein". Nächste Station ist das Elternhaus von Herbert Roth im Löffeltal 4  und der Titel "Kleines Haus am Wald".  Das Wohnhaus von Herbert Roth in der Freiligrathstraße 18, in dem heute die Tochter von Herbert Roth, Karin Roth wohnt empfängt uns mit den "Drei Kindern vom Thüringer Wald". Am Hauptfriedhof erklingt "Wer die Berge nicht kennt". Letzte Station ist  wieder die Tourist Information, mit dem "Suhler Rennfahrerlied" und dem "Suhler Schützenmarsch". Hier können Sie noch das Waffenmuseum und das Fahrzeugmuseum besuchen.
