During harvest season, the Franconian Open-Air Museum in Fladungen invites you to a special theme day. The focus is on food preservation—a cultural practice that was once essential for survival and is now being rediscovered.From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., a varied program awaits you throughout the museum grounds. Experience how our ancestors preserved, fermented, and dried food—and try some of these methods yourself. Practical tips and small tastings will inspire you to try these methods at home. All program activities are open to the public; no prior registration is required. Participation is included with museum admission. Material fees apply at hands-on stations.
Zur Erntezeit lädt das Fränkische Freilandmuseum Fladungen zu einem besonderen Thementag ein.
