Der Rundwanderweg 9 beginnt am Wanderparkplatz Jenzig und schraubt sich mit dem Saurierpfad „Trixi Trias“ auf der Südseite in Serpentinen bis hinauf zur Jenzigspitze. Unterwegs erfahren Sie an vielen Stationen Interessantes zu Sauriern und deren Lebensraum im Erdzeitalter der Trias vor 250 Millionen Jahren. Nach einer kurzen Verschnaufpause mit tollem Blick zum Fuchsturm und ins Saaletal biegt der Wanderweg kurz hinter dem Berggasthaus Jenzig nach links Richtung Stadtzentrum zur Nordseite. Langsam aber stetig windet sich der Wanderweg durch Mischwald bergab, vorbei an Kleingärten zum Ausgangspunkt zurück.

Le parcours circulaire 9 commence au parking de randonnée Jenzig et serpente avec le Saurierpfad « Trixi Trias » sur le côté sud en lacets jusqu’au sommet du Jenzig. En chemin, vous découvrirez à de nombreuses stations des informations intéressantes sur les dinosaures et leur habitat à l’époque triasique il y a 250 millions d’années. Après une courte pause bien méritée avec une vue magnifique sur la tour Fuchsturm et la vallée de la Saale, le sentier de randonnée tourne brièvement à gauche derrière la maison d'hôtes de montagne Jenzig en direction du centre-ville sur le côté nord. Lentement mais sûrement, le sentier descend à travers une forêt mixte, passant devant des jardins familiaux jusqu’au point de départ.

The circular hiking trail 9 begins at the Jenzig hiking car park and winds up on the south side in hairpin bends with the Dinosaur Path "Trixi Trias" up to the Jenzig summit. Along the way, you can learn interesting facts about dinosaurs and their habitat in the Triassic period about 250 million years ago at many stations. After a short breather with a great view of the Fuchsturm and the Saale valley, the trail turns left shortly after the Berggasthaus Jenzig towards the city center on the north side. Slowly but steadily, the trail descends through mixed forest, past allotment gardens, back to the starting point.
