Depuis la zone urbaine, le circuit mène d'abord à Kesselwarte, un abri situé sur les hauteurs au nord de Bad Blankenburg. La vue fantastique sur Bad Blankenburg, les contreforts de la Schwarza, la Rinne et la vallée de la Saale récompense la première pause après l’ascension. Ensuite, le parcours continue à travers une zone boisée jusqu’au point fort suivant de la randonnée - Liske. Ce point de vue situé au-dessus de Zeigerheim offre non seulement des vues sur Rudolstadt et Saalfeld, mais aussi, par temps clair, jusqu’au château de Leuchtenburg près de Kahla.

From the urban area, the circular route first leads to the Kesselwarte, a shelter located on the heights north of Bad Blankenburg. The fantastic view of Bad Blankenburg, the foothills of the Schwarza, Rinne and the Saale Valley compensate for the effort of the ascent during the first rest. From here, the route continues through a wooded section to the next highlight of the tour - the Liske. This viewpoint above Zeigerheim offers views not only of Rudolstadt and Saalfeld, but, in good visibility, even as far as Leuchtenburg near Kahla.

Vom Stadtgebiet aus führt der Rundweg zunächst zur Kesselwarte, einer Schutzhütte auf den Höhenlagen nördlich von Bad Blankenburg gelegen. Der fantastische Ausblick auf Bad Blankenburg, die Ausläufer des Schwarza-, Rinne- und das Saaletals entschädigen bei einer ersten Rast für die Mühen des Aufstiegs.  Weiter geht es von hier aus durch einen waldigen Abschnitt zum nächsten Highlight der Tour - der Liske.  Dieser Aussichtspunkt oberhalb Zeigerheims bietet nicht nur Blicke auf Rudolstadt und Saalfeld, sondern auch bei guter Sicht bis hin zur Leuchtenburg bei Kahla.
