Der Guckaisee ist der einzige See der hessischen Rhön, der natürlich entstanden ist. Im Sommer begeistert er als natürlicher Badesee und lockt unzählige Freizeitsportler auf ihren Touren an. Im Winter wird das Erlebnis um 180 Grad gedreht. Spaziergänger können den See in seinem Winterschlaf erleben. Der Winterwanderweg führt die Wanderer ausgehend von Poppenhausen (Wasserkuppe) an den beliebten See. Auf den 3,6 Kilometern läuft man durch die winterliche Landschaft der Rhön. In dieser Jahreszeit befinden sich auch viele Tierarten in ihrer Winterruhe. Der Fußweg ist geprägt von Stille und viel Zeit für seine eigenen Gedanken.

Le Guckaisee est le seul lac de la Rhön hessoise à s'être formé naturellement. En été, il séduit comme lac de baignade naturel et attire d'innombrables amateurs de loisirs lors de leurs parcours. En hiver, l'expérience change complètement. Les promeneurs peuvent découvrir le lac en son sommeil hivernal. Le parcours de randonnée hivernal mène les randonneurs de Poppenhausen (Wasserkuppe) jusqu'à ce lac populaire. Sur 3,6 kilomètres, on traverse le paysage hivernal de la Rhön. En cette saison, plusieurs espèces animales sont aussi en hibernation. Le chemin se caractérise par le silence et offre beaucoup de temps pour ses propres pensées.

The Guckaisee is the only naturally formed lake in the Hessian Rhön. In summer, it delights as a natural bathing lake and attracts countless leisure athletes on their routes. In winter, the experience is turned 180 degrees. Walkers can experience the lake in its winter sleep. The winter hiking route leads walkers from Poppenhausen (Wasserkuppe) to the popular lake. Over the 3.6 kilometers, you walk through the wintry landscape of the Rhön. Many animal species are also in their winter rest during this season. The footpath is characterized by silence and plenty of time for personal reflection.
