Die Durchquerung des Naturschutzgebiets Standorfsberg stellt schon ein einzigartiges Naturerlebnis an sich dar. Wer dann an der ehemaligen innerdeutschen Grenze sowohl auf Grenzsteine des ehemaligen Königreich Preußens trifft, als auch neuen Grenz-Denkmälern begegnet, erlebt die Feldflur in ihren ganzen Vielfalt. Im Frühjahr und Sommer erblüht hier die Natur in seltenen Pflanzen.

Crossing the Standorfsberg nature reserve is already a unique natural experience in itself. Anyone who then encounters both boundary stones of the former Kingdom of Prussia and new border monuments at the former inner-German border experiences the full diversity of the rural landscape. In spring and summer, nature here blooms with rare plants.

La traversée de la réserve naturelle de Standorfsberg est déjà une expérience naturelle unique en soi. Ceux qui rencontrent à l'ancienne frontière intérieure allemande à la fois des pierres frontières du royaume de Prusse et de nouveaux monuments commémoratifs frontaliers, découvrent la diversité complète des champs cultivés. Au printemps et en été, la nature y fleurit avec des plantes rares.

schema:value @de Vom Ortsmittelpunkt Grüsselbach aus an der Kirche und dem Geburtshaus von Johann Adam Förster vorbei, geht es in nordöstlicher Richtung durch die Felder bis zur B84. Nach der Überquerung dieser Straße (Vorsicht! Schneller Verkehr), erreicht man das Naturschutzgebiet Waldhof - Standorfsberg und wandert an der Landesgrenze Hessen-Thüringen entlang Richtung Waldhof. Dabei betritt man an der Grenze auf dem Kolonnenweg einen Teil des durch ganz Deutschland führenden "Grünen Bands". Der Weg führt nun an dem Bildstock Hl. Wendelin - Hl. Eustachius und der kleinen Siedlung Waldhof (Privatgrundstück!) vorbei bis zum Gedenkstein des Heimatkreises Geisaer Amt. Hier geht es rechts bergab durch den Wald zur Überquerung der B84. Unterwegs kann man einen Abstecher zum historischen Grenzstein am Hummelsrain machen. In der Grüsselbacher Holl findet man die Mariengrotte und geht anschließend nach links zum Grüsselbacher Friedhof. Die Wanderung endet wieder an der Grüsselbacher Kirche. schema:value @fr Depuis le centre de Grüsselbach, en passant par l'église et la maison natale de Johann Adam Förster, on se dirige vers le nord-est à travers les champs jusqu'à la B84. Après avoir traversé cette route (prudence ! trafic rapide), on atteint la réserve naturelle Waldhof - Standorfsberg et on longe la frontière régionale Hesse-Thuringe en direction de Waldhof. À la frontière, on entre sur le chemin des colonnes, une partie de la « Ceinture Verte » qui traverse toute l'Allemagne. Le chemin passe ensuite devant le calvaire Saint Wendelin - Saint Eustache et le petit hameau de Waldhof (propriété privée !) jusqu'au monument commémoratif du district d'origine Geisaer Amt. Ici, on descend à droite par la forêt pour traverser à nouveau la B84. En chemin, on peut faire un détour par la pierre frontière historique de Hummelsrain. Fast traffic), you reach the Waldhof - Standorfsberg nature reserve and hike along the Hesse-Thuringia state border towards Waldhof. At the border, on the patrol road, you enter part of the "Green Belt," which runs through all of Germany. The path now passes the wayside shrine of St. Wendelin - St. Eustachius and the small settlement of Waldhof (private property!) to the memorial stone of the Geisa district. Here, turn right downhill through the forest to cross the B84. Along the way, you can make a detour to the historic border stone at Hummelsrain. In the Grüsselbacher Holl you will find the Marian grotto and then go left to the Grüsselbach cemetery. The hike ends again at the Grüsselbach church. Nach der Überquerung dieser Straße (Vorsicht! Schneller Verkehr), erreicht man das Naturschutzgebiet Waldhof - Standorfsberg und wandert an der Landesgrenze Hessen-Thüringen entlang Richtung Waldhof. Dabei betritt man an der Grenze auf dem Kolonnenweg einen Teil des durch ganz Deutschland führenden "Grünen Bands". Der Weg führt nun an dem Bildstock Hl. Wendelin - Hl. Eustachius und der kleinen Siedlung Waldhof (Privatgrundstück!) vorbei bis zum Gedenkstein des Heimatkreises Geisaer Amt. Hier geht es rechts bergab durch den Wald zur Überquerung der B84. Unterwegs kann man einen Abstecher zum historischen Grenzstein am Hummelsrain machen. In der Grüsselbacher Holl findet man die Mariengrotte und geht anschließend nach links zum Grüsselbacher Friedhof. Die Wanderung endet wieder an der Grüsselbacher Kirche.
