Im Naturschutzgebiet Rhönwald zwischen Hilders und Frankenheim findet ihr entlang der ehemaligen innerdeutschen Grenze drei Rundloipen unterschiedlicher Länge. Die Rhönwaldloipe ist ein echter Geheimtipp und führt auf ca. 800 Metern Höhe geschützt von Wind durch den Wald. Es gibt Verbindungen zu den Loipen der langen Rhön und dem Loipennetz in Thüringen. Bitte fahrt immer im Uhrzeigersinn!

Dans la réserve naturelle de Rhönwald, entre Hilders et Frankenheim, vous trouverez le long de l'ancienne frontière intérieure allemande trois boucles de ski de fond de différentes longueurs. La boucle Rhönwald est un vrai secret bien gardé et se déroule à environ 800 mètres d'altitude, à l'abri du vent, à travers la forêt. Il existe des connexions avec les pistes de la longue Rhön et le réseau de pistes du Thuringe. Veuillez toujours skier dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre !

In the Rhönwald nature reserve between Hilders and Frankenheim, you will find three circular trails of different lengths along the former inner-German border. The Rhönwald trail is a real insider tip and leads at about 800 meters altitude, protected from the wind, through the forest. There are connections to the long Rhön trails and the trail network in Thuringia. Please always travel clockwise!
