Unser Rundwanderweg um Heyda beginnt und endet am Wanderparkplatz Bücheloher Straße. Von hier aus geht es über den Grenzweg bis zur Unterpörlitzer Straße. Diese überqueren wir Richtung Langer Rasen. Am Ende befindet sich das Bodendenkmal Schmierofen (Grundriss eines Teerofens). Eine Sitzgruppe lädt zur Rast ein. Wir überqueren die Martinrodaer Landstraße, Richtung Waldkante. Vorbei an einer Holzskulptur erreichen wir oberhalb den Steinbruch. Jetzt geht unser Rundweg immer an der Waldkante entlang, mit Blick auf Heyda. Wir kommen zum Wanderparkplatz Schmerfelder Straße, wieder mit Sitzgruppe. Von hier aus sind auch Teilstrecken der Rundwanderung um Heyda erreichbar, wie zum Bsp. die Talsperre Heyda mit Riverdam Hotel & Steakhouse. Über den Gehegeweg, entlang am Feld vor dem Stausee, erreichen wir das Brunneneck und somit das Ende unserer Tour.

Notre parcours pédestre circulaire autour de Heyda commence et se termine au parking de randonnée de la rue Bücheloher. De là, on suit le chemin de frontière jusqu'à la rue Unterpörlitzer. Nous la traversons en direction du Langer Rasen. Au bout se trouve le monument archéologique Schmierofen (plan d’un four à goudron). Un groupe de sièges invite à la pause. Nous traversons la route Martinrodaer en direction de la lisière de la forêt. En passant devant une sculpture en bois, nous atteignons la carrière en hauteur. Ensuite, notre parcours continue toujours le long de la lisière de la forêt, avec vue sur Heyda. Nous arrivons au parking de randonnée de la rue Schmerfelder, également équipé d’un groupe de sièges. Depuis cet endroit, plusieurs tronçons du parcours pédestre circulaire autour de Heyda sont accessibles, comme par exemple la barrage d’Heyda avec le Riverdam Hotel & Steakhouse. Par le chemin de la forêt, le long du champ devant le lac de retenue, nous atteignons le Brunneneck et ainsi la fin de notre parcours.

Our circular hiking trail around Heyda starts and ends at the Wanderparkplatz Bücheloher Straße. From here it goes over the border path to Unterpörlitzer Straße. We cross this towards Langer Rasen. At the end is the Bodendenkmal Schmierofen (ground plan of a tar oven). A seating area invites you to rest. We cross the Martinroda country road towards the forest edge. Past a wooden sculpture we reach the quarry above. Now our circular path always goes along the forest edge, with views of Heyda. We come to the Wanderparkplatz Schmerfelder Straße, again with seating. From here partial sections of the circular hiking trail around Heyda can also be reached, such as the Heyda reservoir with Riverdam Hotel & Steakhouse. Over the enclosure path, along the field in front of the reservoir, we reach the Brunneneck and thus the end of our route.
