What do busy bees, a castle that no longer exists, alpine plants, models of Vogtland sights and river pearl mussels have to do with each other? All this is connected to an interesting and varied circular hiking trail. It leads from the historic town centre of Adorf up to the heights in the Arnsgrün district. Even there, there is a fascinating panoramic view of the Upper Vogtland landscape. Shady forest paths lead the hiker back down into the valley called Zeidelweide. Beekeepers used to be called Zeidler. So there must have been a lot of buzzing here in times gone by. Today, the valley, which has been designated a nature reserve, offers a lot of interesting flora and fauna. Millions of tadpoles, for example, populate the waters around the former Old Schönfeld Castle every year. Today, only the Ringwall Island can be seen. According to legend, there are vast rooms underneath it that are said to be filled with gold. The treasure is guarded by the knights who once inhabited the castle. It is not supposed to be locked away from people forever. The person who finds the right key and knows the right formula becomes the new owner of the treasure of Arnsgrün. Further down the valley - easy to walk - there are always small signs (as along the entire nature trail) pointing out natural history and local history features. This is how you get to a very special exhibition. In the "Little Vogtland" you will find the most famous sights of the Vogtland as detailed models. Idyllically surrounded by forest, you can get many a tip for further excursion destinations in the region. The entrance fee also includes a visit to the only botanical garden in Saxony's Vogtland region. It has set itself the task of presenting the alpine flora. Thousands of plants from the world's high mountains are a feast for the eyes, especially in spring and early summer. At the end of the hike, however, another highlight awaits the guest: Germany's most extensive museum collection on the subject of mother-of-pearl. What lies behind it - let yourself be surprised!

Quel est le rapport entre des abeilles laborieuses, un château qui n'existe plus, des plantes alpines, des maquettes de curiosités des Vosges et des moules perlières ? Tout cela est lié à un circuit de randonnée intéressant et varié qui part du centre-ville historique d'Adorf et monte sur les hauteurs du quartier d'Arnsgrün. De là, on a déjà une vue panoramique fascinante sur le paysage des Hautes-Vosges. Des chemins forestiers ombragés mènent le randonneur à la vallée appelée Zeidelweide. Autrefois, on appelait les apiculteurs "Zeidler". Il y avait donc certainement un bourdonnement important dans le passé. Aujourd'hui, la vallée, qui a été déclarée réserve naturelle, offre beaucoup de choses intéressantes au niveau de la flore et de la faune. Des millions de têtards peuplent par exemple chaque année le plan d'eau autour de l'ancien château de Schönfeld. Aujourd'hui, seule l'île de l'enceinte est encore visible. Selon une légende, de vastes espaces remplis d'or se trouvent en dessous. Le trésor est gardé par les chevaliers qui habitaient autrefois le château. Il n'est pas censé être fermé éternellement aux hommes. Celui qui trouve la bonne clé et connaît la bonne formule devient le nouveau propriétaire du trésor d'Arnsgrün. Plus loin dans la vallée - facile à parcourir - on trouve toujours (comme sur l'ensemble du sentier didactique) des petits panneaux qui indiquent les particularités de la nature et de l'histoire locale. C'est ainsi que l'on arrive à une exposition très particulière. Dans le "Petit Vogtland", on trouve les curiosités les plus connues du Vogtland sous forme de maquettes détaillées. Entouré d'une forêt idyllique, on y trouve de nombreux conseils pour d'autres excursions dans la région. L'entrée comprend également la visite du seul jardin botanique du Vogtland saxon. Il s'est donné pour mission de présenter la flore alpine. Des milliers de plantes provenant des hautes montagnes du monde entier sont un régal pour les yeux, surtout au printemps et au début de l'été. Mais à la fin de la randonnée, un autre point fort attend les visiteurs : la plus grande collection muséale d'Allemagne sur le thème de la nacre. Laissez-vous surprendre par ce qui s'y cache !

Was haben fleißige Bienen, ein nicht mehr vorhandenes Schloss, alpine Pflanzen, Modelle vogtländischer Sehenswürdigkeiten und Flussperlmuscheln miteinander zu tun? Dies alles hängt zusammen mit einem interessanten und abwechslungsreichen Rund-Wanderweg.  Er führt vom historischen Stadtzentrum Adorfs hinauf auf die Höhen im Ortsteil Arnsgrün. Schon dort gibt es einen faszinierenden Panoramablick in die obervogtländische Landschaft. Schattige Waldwege führen den Wanderer wieder ins Tal namens Zeidelweide. Zeidler wurden früher die Imker genannt. Also summte es hier bestimmt kräftig in den vergangenen Zeiten. Heute bietet das zum Naturschutzgebiet ernannte Tal viel Interessantes in Flora und Fauna. Millionen von Kaulquappen bevölkern z.B. jährlich das Gewässer um das ehemalige Alte Schloss Schönfeld. Heute ist nur noch die Ringwallinsel zu sehen. Einer Sage nach befinden sich darunter weite Räume, die mit Gold gefüllt sein sollen. Bewacht wird der Schatz von den Rittern, die einst das Schloss bewohnten. Nicht ewig soll er für die Menschen verschlossen sein. Derjenige, der den passenden Schlüssel findet und die richtige Formel weiß, wird der neue Besitzer des Schatzes von Arnsgrün.  Weiter talwärts – leicht zu laufen -  findet man immer wieder (wie am gesamten Lehrpfad) kleine Schilder, die auf naturkundliche- und heimatgeschichtliche Besonderheiten hinweisen. So gelangt man nun auch an eine ganz besondere Ausstellung. Im „Klein-Vogtland“ findet man die bekanntesten Sehenswürdigkeiten des Vogtlandes als detailgetreue Modelle. Idyllisch von Wald umgeben, erhält man hier so manchen Tipp für weitere Ausflugsziele in der Region. Inbegriffen ist beim Eintritt auch der Besuch des einzigen Botanischen Gartens des sächsischen Vogtlandes. Er hat sich zur Aufgabe gestellt, die alpine Flora vorzustellen. Tausende Pflanzen aus den Hochgebirgen der Welt sind vor allem im Frühjahr und Frühsommer eine Augenweide. Am Schluss der Wanderung wartet auf den Gast aber noch ein Highlight: Deutschlands umfangreichste museale Sammlung zum Thema Perlmutter. Was sich dahinter verbirgt – lassen Sie sich überraschen!
