Il y a en plus six refuges et plusieurs bancs pour se reposer. Le point de départ de la randonnée est l'arrêt Hundsgrün, régulièrement desservi par la Vogtlandbahn. Une maison de la pomme de terre sert de monument à l'origine de la culture de la pomme de terre il y a environ 375 ans. À Unterwürsnitz, le randonneur a la possibilité d'en apprendre beaucoup plus sur la pomme de terre. Environ 200 variétés de pommes de terre sont cultivées à la ferme d'expérience de vacances Wilfert et préparées en différentes gourmandises. Il y a aussi des dégustations de pommes de terre sur réservation.

There are six shelters and additional benches for resting. As a starting point for the hike, the stop Hundsgrün is recommended, which is regularly reached by the Vogtlandbahn. Hinzu kommen sechs Schutzhütten und weitere Bänke zum Verschnaufen. Als Einstieg in die Wanderung bietet sich der Haltepunkt Hundsgrün an, der regelmäßig von der Vogtlandbahn erreicht wird. Ein Kartoffelhaus dient als Denkmal für den Ursprung des Kartoffelanbaus vor ca. 375 Jahren. In Unterwürschnitz hat der Wanderer die Möglichkeit, noch viel mehr über Kartoffeln zu erfahren. Ca. 200 Kartoffelsorten werden auf dem Erlebnis-Ferienhof Wilfert  angebaut und zu verschiedenen Leckereien zubereitet. Außerdem gibt es auf Anmeldung  Kartoffel-Verkostungen.

G. - Marieney - Würschnitzbachtal - Hundsgrün.</strong></p> <p>Am Bahnhof Hundsgrün beginnt unsere Wanderung, der Weg führt uns nach Elstertal im Wald entlang Richtung Unterwürschnitz.</p> <p>Wir überqueren den Würschnitztbach und kommen an das Kartoffelhaus. Aus Überlieferungen ist bekannt, hier hat der Wanderbursche Kummerlöw die ersten Kartoffeln im Vogtland angebaut.  Da man zu dieser Zeit noch sehr abergläubig war, nutzte man nur die Blüte als Blume. Denn alles was unter der Erde wuchs war verteufelt und durfte auf keinen Fall gegessen werden.</p> <p>Nun beginnen wir den Aufstieg ins Dorf Unterwürschnitz , der Wanderer hat nun die Möglichkeit auf dem Erlebnis Ferienhof Wilfert noch viel mehr über die Kartoffel zu erfahren. Der Ferienhof baut ca. 200 Kartoffelsorten (Urkartoffeln, alte und eigene Sorten) an, die in der Gaststätte verarbeitet werden. Bei einer Kartoffelverköstigung kann man die Delikatenkartoffeln genießen oder man schaut sich die Schaupflanzung an und genießt die übrige Blütenpracht.</p> <p>Weiter geht es in Richtung Kirche, es lohnt sich auf einen Abstecher zur Besichtigung, geschnitzter Holzaltar und Orgel von Trampeli v. 1712 mit 11 Register 692 Pfeifen, die kleinste älteste Glocke v. 1506. Wir verlassen das Dorf Unterwürschnitz und wandern in Richtung Tirschendorf.</p> <p>Kurz bevor wir in den Wald eintreten, genießen wir den herrlichen Ausblick über das südliche Vogtland in Richtung Bayern. Die Wanderung führt uns durch den Wald über den Tirschenbach in den Ort Tirschendorf, hier haben wir die Möglichkeit einen Abstecher in die Agrargenossenschaft zu machen und die Vielfalt der modernen Technik zu bestaunen. Es geht weiter über Wiesen und Wälder in Richtung des Ortes Marieney den Geburtstort von Julius Mosen, bekannt durch seine Heimatlieder. Ein Abstecher in das Museum lohn sich immer. </p> <p>Nun geht es durch den Ort zu einem der schönsten gelegenen Tälern des Vogtlandes den Würschnitzbachtal nach Unterwürschnitz. Wir erleben eine unberührte Natur, sind wir ganz still und leise kann man den Ruf des Eisvogels hören oder wahrnehmen wie der Kuckucks schreit. Wenn wir großes Glück haben, sehen wir über uns zwei Schwarzstörche fliegen. Wieder am Kartoffelhaus angekommen geht es zurück zum Ausgangspunkt Bahnhof Hundsgrün.</p>

G. - Marieney - Würschnitzbachtal - Hundsgrün. Am Bahnhof Hundsgrün beginnt unsere Wanderung, der Weg führt uns nach Elstertal im Wald entlang Richtung Unterwürschnitz. Wir überqueren den Würschnitztbach und kommen an das Kartoffelhaus. Aus Überlieferungen ist bekannt, hier hat der Wanderbursche Kummerlöw die ersten Kartoffeln im Vogtland angebaut.  Da man zu dieser Zeit noch sehr abergläubig war, nutzte man nur die Blüte als Blume. Denn alles was unter der Erde wuchs war verteufelt und durfte auf keinen Fall gegessen werden. Nun beginnen wir den Aufstieg ins Dorf Unterwürschnitz , der Wanderer hat nun die Möglichkeit auf dem Erlebnis Ferienhof Wilfert noch viel mehr über die Kartoffel zu erfahren. Der Ferienhof baut ca. 200 Kartoffelsorten (Urkartoffeln, alte und eigene Sorten) an, die in der Gaststätte verarbeitet werden. Bei einer Kartoffelverköstigung kann man die Delikatenkartoffeln genießen oder man schaut sich die Schaupflanzung an und genießt die übrige Blütenpracht. Weiter geht es in Richtung Kirche, es lohnt sich auf einen Abstecher zur Besichtigung, geschnitzter Holzaltar und Orgel von Trampeli v. 1712 mit 11 Register 692 Pfeifen, die kleinste älteste Glocke v. 1506. Wir verlassen das Dorf Unterwürschnitz und wandern in Richtung Tirschendorf. Kurz bevor wir in den Wald eintreten, genießen wir den herrlichen Ausblick über das südliche Vogtland in Richtung Bayern. Die Wanderung führt uns durch den Wald über den Tirschenbach in den Ort Tirschendorf, hier haben wir die Möglichkeit einen Abstecher in die Agrargenossenschaft zu machen und die Vielfalt der modernen Technik zu bestaunen. Es geht weiter über Wiesen und Wälder in Richtung des Ortes Marieney den Geburtstort von Julius Mosen, bekannt durch seine Heimatlieder. Ein Abstecher in das Museum lohn sich immer.  Nun geht es durch den Ort zu einem der schönsten gelegenen Tälern des Vogtlandes den Würschnitzbachtal nach Unterwürschnitz. Wir erleben eine unberührte Natur, sind wir ganz still und leise kann man den Ruf des Eisvogels hören oder wahrnehmen wie der Kuckucks schreit. Wenn wir großes Glück haben, sehen wir über uns zwei Schwarzstörche fliegen. Wieder am Kartoffelhaus angekommen geht es zurück zum Ausgangspunkt Bahnhof Hundsgrün.

We cross the Würschnitztbach and come to the potato house. According to tradition, the wandering journeyman Kummerlöw cultivated the first potatoes in Vogtland here. Since people were very superstitious at that time, only the blossom was used as a flower. Everything that grew underground was considered devilish and was not allowed to be eaten. Now we begin the ascent into the village of Unterwürschnitz, where hikers have the opportunity to learn even more about potatoes at the Erlebnis Ferienhof Wilfert. The farm grows about 200 potato varieties (original potatoes, old and own varieties), which are processed in the guesthouse. During a potato tasting, you can enjoy the delicate potatoes or watch the show planting and enjoy the remaining blossom splendor. Then we proceed towards the church; it is worth taking a detour for a visit, featuring a carved wooden altar and an organ by Trampeli from 1712 with 11 registers and 692 pipes, as well as the smallest oldest bell from 1506. We leave the village of Unterwürschnitz and hike towards Tirschendorf. Just before entering the forest, we enjoy the magnificent view over southern Vogtland towards Bavaria. The hike takes us through the forest over the Tirschenbach to the village of Tirschendorf, where there is the possibility to take a detour to the agricultural cooperative and admire the variety of modern technology. It continues across meadows and forests towards the village of Marieney, the birthplace of Julius Mosen, known for his homeland songs. A detour to the museum is always worthwhile. Now it goes through the village to one of the most beautifully situated valleys in Vogtland, the Würschnitzbachtal, to Unterwürschnitz. We experience pristine nature; if we are very quiet and still, we can hear the call of the kingfisher or notice the cuckoo’s cry. If we are very lucky, we see two black storks flying above us. Returning to the potato house, the route ends back at the starting point Hundsgrün station.
