Erstmalig veranstalte die Urlaubsregion Coburg.Rennsteig am 13. August 2022 ein eigenes Wanderevent "Grenzenlos Wandern in Coburg.Rennsteig" zusammen mit der Stadt Heldburg vor der einmaligen Kulisse der 25. Thüringer Montgolfiade, einer der größten Ballonveranstaltungen in Deutschland. Für all diejenigen, die an diesem Tag nicht dabei sein konnten, teilen wir hier die beiden Touren - viel Spaß beim Nachwandern!

For the first time, the holiday region Coburg.Rennsteig held its own hiking event "Grenzenlos Wandern in Coburg.Rennsteig" on August 13, 2022, together with the city of Heldburg against the unique backdrop of the 25th Thuringian Montgolfiade, one of the largest balloon events in Germany. For all those who could not attend that day, we share the two routes here - enjoy hiking afterwards!

Pour la première fois, la région touristique Coburg.Rennsteig a organisé le 13 août 2022 un événement de randonnée "Grenzenlos Wandern in Coburg.Rennsteig" en collaboration avec la ville de Heldburg, dans le décor unique de la 25e Montgolfiade de Thuringe, l'un des plus grands événements de montgolfières en Allemagne. Pour tous ceux qui n'ont pas pu participer ce jour-là, nous partageons ici les deux parcours – bon plaisir à les refaire !

Auch das von Fachwerkhäusern geprägte Städtchen Heldburg ist vor oder nach der Wanderung einen Besuch wert.</p> <p>Zunächst führt die Wanderung über den Gerichtsberg, welcher einen herrlichen ersten Blick auf die Veste Heldburg gewährt.  Einen Pfad entlang wandert man hinunter auf einen befestigten Weg und passiert anschließend die Wegpunkte Kuhsee und den Schnepfenbrunnen. Hier wandert man ein kurzes Stück auf dem Lutherweg, bevor man bei der Weggabelung Pfaffenholz nach links abbiegt. Auf dem weiteren Weg lohnt sich ein Abstecher zu dem im Wald versteckten Fürstenbrunnen.</p> <p>Zurück auf dem Hauptweg, führt die Wanderung ein Stück bergauf, bis  der Wegpunkt Hoher Stein erreicht wird, der direkt am ehemaligen Kolonnenweg und der einstigen innerdeutschen Grenze liegt. Hier lädt eine Sitzgruppe zu einer kleinen Rast an diesem geschichtsträchtigen Ort ein.</p> <p>Dem Reitweg folgend, erreicht man schließlich die imposante Veste Heldburg, die früher den Namen "Fränkische Leuchte" innehatte. Vermutlich deshalb, weil sie ihren fränkischen Nachbarburgen in Gefahrensituationen Feuerzeichen gegeben hat. Heute beherbergt die Burg das Deutsche Burgenmuseum, ein absolutes Muss für jeden Burgenfreund. Zudem gewährt der Burgturm herrliche Aussichten in die umliegende Landschaft.</p> <p>Von der Veste gibt es nun verschiedene Möglichkeiten, um wieder nach Heldburg zu gelangen, die allesamt gut ausgeschildert sind.</p>

Aujourd’hui, le château abrite le Musée allemand des châteaux, un incontournable pour tout amateur de forteresses.
