Herzlich willkommen in Sömmerda!  Entdecken Sie mit unserem Audioguide die bewegte Kultur- und Industriegeschichte unserer Stadt auf insgesamt 19 Stationen .  Wussten Sie bereits, dass eine geniale Erfindung aus Sömmerda erheblich zu dem Siegeszug der preußischen Armee in den deutschen Einigungskriegen und schließlich zur Entstehung des Deutschen Reichs 1871 beitrug? Oder, dass Sömmerda zu DDR Zeiten den stolzen Titel "Hauptstadt der Computer" trug? Dank dem Erfindungsreichtum, wirtschaftlichen Geschick und der Vision einzelner kluger Köpfe ist es in Sömmerda gelungen, einen Industriestandort aufzubauen, der durch zahlreiche technische Innovationen auf eine über 200 jährige bewegte Wirtschaftsgeschichte schauen kann.  In 19 Stationen führt Sie der Audioguide an die Originalschauplätze: den ehemaligen Gebäuden und Werkshallen des VEB' Büromaschinenwerk Sömmerda. Hier baute man hunderttausende von Schreib- und Rechenmaschinen, produzierte Nadeldrucker und entwickelte in 1980er Jahren den ersten in großer Stückzahl hergestellten Personalcomputer der DDR, den PC 1715.  Der Audioguide blickt auch noch weiter zurück, in die Zeit, als Sömmerda in den zwei Weltkriegen zu einem wichtigen Standort der Rüstungsindustrie heranwuchs. Die Anfänge gehen auf den Erfinder und Unternehmer Johann Nicolaus von Dreyse zurück, der hier in Sömmerda mit seiner Erfindung des Zündnadelgewehrs die Waffentechnik revolutionierte und mit seiner Gewehrfabrik den Anstoß zur Industrialisierung von Sömmerda gab.  Die Gewehre zeigt heute das Historisch Technische Museum, das für Sie zu folgenden Zeiten geöffnet hat: Montags, dienstags und donnerstags von 10 bis 18 Uhr, freitags von 10 bis 13 Uhr und sonntags von 14 bis 17 Uhr. Sie finden das Museum nur einige Minuten entfernt in der Weißenseer Straße 15.  Auch dort führt sie der Audioguide in weiteren sechs Stationen durch das ehemalige Wohnhaus des Nicolaus von Dreyse und wirft Schlaglichter auf weitere bekannte Erfindungen und Produkte „Made in Sömmerda“, wie den Fotoapparat Perfekta, die Rheinmetall-Schreibmaschinen oder den PC 1715. Grâce à l’ingéniosité, au savoir-faire économique et à la vision de quelques esprits brillants, Sömmerda a réussi à établir un site industriel qui peut se targuer d’une histoire économique mouvementée de plus de 200 ans avec de nombreuses innovations techniques. L’audioguide vous conduit à travers 19 stations aux lieux d’origine : les anciens bâtiments et halls d’usine du VEB Büromaschinenwerk Sömmerda. Là, des centaines de milliers de machines à écrire et à calculer furent fabriquées, des imprimantes matricielles produites, et dans les années 1980, le premier ordinateur personnel produit en grande série en RDA, le PC 1715, fut développé. L’audioguide remonte encore plus loin dans le temps, à l’époque où Sömmerda devint un site important de l’industrie de l’armement pendant les deux guerres mondiales. Les débuts remontent à l’inventeur et entrepreneur Johann Nicolaus von Dreyse, qui révolutionna la technologie des armes avec son invention du fusil à aiguille et donna l’impulsion à l’industrialisation de Sömmerda avec son usine de fusils. Aujourd’hui, les fusils sont exposés au Musée historique et technique, ouvert pour vous aux horaires suivants : Les lundis, mardis et jeudis de 10h à 18h, les vendredis de 10h à 13h et les dimanches de 14h à 17h. Vous trouverez le musée à quelques minutes seulement, au 15 Weißenser Straße. Là aussi, l’audioguide vous conduit à travers six autres stations dans l’ancienne maison de Nicolaus von Dreyse et met en lumière d’autres inventions et produits célèbres « Made in Sömmerda », comme l’appareil photo Perfekta, les machines à écrire Rheinmetall ou le PC 1715. Did you already know that a brilliant invention from Sömmerda contributed significantly to the triumph of the Prussian army in the German Wars of Unification and ultimately to the founding of the German Empire in 1871? Or that during the GDR period, Sömmerda proudly carried the title "Capital of Computers"? Thanks to inventiveness, economic skill, and the vision of a few clever minds, Sömmerda has succeeded in building an industrial location that, through numerous technological innovations, can look back on a more than 200-year eventful economic history. The audio guide leads you to the original sites in 19 stations: the former buildings and workshops of the VEB Office Machine Plant Sömmerda. Here, hundreds of thousands of typewriters and calculators were built, dot matrix printers produced, and in the 1980s the first mass-produced personal computer of the GDR, the PC 1715, was developed. The audio guide also looks further back to a time when Sömmerda grew into an important armaments site during the two World Wars. The origins go back to the inventor and entrepreneur Johann Nicolaus von Dreyse, who revolutionized weapons technology here in Sömmerda with his invention of the needle gun and kickstarted the industrialization of Sömmerda with his rifle factory. The rifles are now displayed at the Historical Technical Museum, which is open for you at the following times: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. You will find the museum just a few minutes away at Weißenseer Straße 15.
