Depuis le Holzberghof, la boucle de piste mène d'abord lentement en montée vers la frontière bavaro-hessoise. La montée continue ensuite par le sommet Münzkopf à travers un paysage forestier enneigé, puis la descente ramène au point de départ. Environ à mi-parcours, il y a une connexion au centre des pistes dans la Rhön hessoise ainsi qu’à la piste longue distance Sennhütte – Holzberghof en direction du tripoint.

From the Holzberghof, the circular trail initially leads us slowly uphill towards the Bavarian-Hessian border.  Further uphill, it goes over the Münzkopf summit through snowy forest landscapes and then downhill back to the starting point. About halfway along the route, there is a connection to the track center in the Hessian Rhön as well as to the long-distance trail Sennhütte - Holzberghof in the direction of the tri-border area.

Vom Holzberghof aus führt uns die Rundloipe zunächst langsam bergauf in Richtung bayerisch-hessische Grenze.  Weiter bergauf geht es über den Gipfel Münzkopf durch verschneite Waldlandschaft und wieder bergab zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. Etwa auf der Hälfte der Strecke besteht Anschluss an das Loipenzentrum in der hessischen Rhön sowie an die Fernloipe Sennhütte - Holzberghof in Richtung Dreiländereck.
