Ihre Wanderung beginnt am ehemaligen Grenzturm an der Bockelnhagener Straße. Sie laufen entlang der ehemaligen innerdeutschen Grenze überwiegend auf noch vorhandenen Kolonnenweg-Platten und Feldwegen. Die nach Süden ausstreichende Landschaft des Südharzes ermöglicht wunderschöne Ausblicke in das historische Eichsfeld.  Mit der Entwicklung zum „Grünen Band“ und den Maßnahmen zur Landschaftspflege wurde ein Biotopverbund mit der umgebenden Kulturlandschaft geschaffen.

Votre randonnée commence à la ancienne tour frontière sur la Bockelnhagener Straße. Vous marchez le long de l'ancienne frontière intérieure allemande principalement sur des plaques de voie de colonne encore présentes et des chemins de campagne. Le paysage du Sudharz qui s'étend vers le sud offre de superbes vues sur l'historique Eichsfeld.  Avec le développement du « Ruban Vert » et les mesures d'entretien du paysage, un réseau d'habitats naturels a été créé avec le paysage culturel environnant.

Your hike begins at the former border tower on Bockelnhagener Street. You walk along the former inner-German border mostly on still existing patrolling path slabs and field paths. The landscape of the southern Harz stretching to the south offers beautiful views of the historic Eichsfeld.  With the development into the "Green Belt" and the landscape management measures, a biotope network with the surrounding cultural landscape has been created.
