Die Wanderung beginnt in Großtöpfer an der evangelischen Radfahrer-Kirche "Guter Hirte". Von dort aus wandern Sie auf dem Kanonenbahnradweg in Richtung der ehemaligen deutsch-deutschen Grenze, dem heutigen „Grünen Band“. Der Kolonnenweg führt Sie steil bergauf. Eine Alternative bietet der Weg durch das romantische Waldtal "Gretchen". Über den Dachsberg wandern Sie am geschleiften "Gut Greifenstein" mit Friedhof vorbei zur Burgruine Greifenstein.  Dem Kolonnenweg am „Grünen Band“ folgend verlassen Sie die Höhe vom "Dachsberg" um im Tal der "Frieda" den Ausgangspunkt zu erreichen.

La randonnée commence à Großtöpfer, à l’église protestante des cyclistes « Bon Pasteur ». De là, vous suivez la piste cyclable Kanonenbahn en direction de l’ancienne frontière germano-germnique, l’actuelle « Ceinture Verte ». Le chemin de la colonne vous conduit en montée raide. Une alternative est le passage par la vallée forestière romantique « Gretchen ». Par le Dachsberg, vous passez devant le « Gut Greifenstein » rasé avec cimetière, en direction de la ruine du château Greifenstein.  Suivant le chemin de la colonne le long de la « Ceinture Verte », vous quittez le sommet du « Dachsberg » pour atteindre le point de départ dans la vallée de la « Frieda ».

The hike starts in Großtöpfer at the Protestant biker’s church "Good Shepherd". From there you walk on the Kanonenbahn Cycle Path towards the former East-West German border, today's „Green Belt“. The Kolonnenweg leads you steeply uphill. An alternative is the path through the romantic forest valley "Gretchen". Over the Dachsberg you walk past the demolished "Gut Greifenstein" with a cemetery to the Greifenstein Castle Ruins.  Following the Kolonnenweg on the „Green Belt“, you leave the heights of "Dachsberg" to reach the starting point in the valley of the "Frieda".
