Die Wanderung beginnt am Parkplatz des Grenzlandmuseums bei Teistungen. Sie führt Sie vorbei am ehemaligen Kloster Teistungenburg, das 1260 gegründet wurde und mittlerweile als Hotel genutzt wird. Der Weg führt Sie weiter durch den Wald des Lindenbergs mit Beschreibung der ehemaligen DDR-Grenzsperranlage. Der Rückweg des Rundwanderweges führt Sie entlang der ehemaligen deutsch-deutschen Grenze, dem heutigen „Grünen Band“.

La randonnée commence au parking du musée de la région frontalière près de Teistungen. Elle vous fait passer devant l'ancien monastère Teistungenburg, fondé en 1260 et désormais utilisé comme hôtel. Le chemin vous conduit ensuite à travers la forêt du Lindenberg avec une description de l'ancienne installation de barrière frontalière de la RDA. Le chemin de retour de la randonnée en boucle longe l'ancienne frontière germano-germanique, qui est aujourd'hui la « Ceinture verte ».

The hike starts at the parking lot of the Grenzlandmuseum near Teistungen. It leads you past the former Teistungenburg Monastery, founded in 1260 and now used as a hotel. The path continues through the forest of Lindenberg with a description of the former GDR border fortifications. The return path of the circular route follows along the former German-German border, today's "Green Belt".
