Ihre Wandertour führt Sie entlang der ehemaligen innerdeutschen Grenze überwiegend auf noch vorhandenen Kolonnenweg-Platten sowie Feld- und Waldwegen.  Die Tagestour führt Sie weiter nach Süden in die Landschaft des Untereichsfelds mit reizvollen Ein- und Ausblicken. Sie wandern zum Kunstobjekt „WestÖstliches Tor“ bei Wehnde, das auf besondere Weise an die deutsche Teilung erinnert. Ziel Ihrer Wanderung ist das Grenzlandmuseum Eichsfeld in Teistungen. Für Interessierte wartet hier eine abschließende Führung. Am „Grünen Band“ lässt sich die Entwicklung vom Todesstreifen zur Lebenslinie und der Gedanken des Biotopverbundes in der umgebenden Kulturlandschaft sehr gut erkennen.

Votre parcours de randonnée vous mène le long de l'ancienne frontière intérieure allemande principalement sur des plaques de Kolonnenweg encore existantes ainsi que sur des chemins de champs et forestiers.  Le parcours d'une journée continue vers le sud dans le paysage de l'Untereichsfeld avec des vues charmantes. Vous randonnez jusqu'à l'objet d'art « Porte Ouest-Est » près de Wehnde, qui rappelle de manière particulière la division allemande. Le but de votre randonnée est le musée de la frontière Eichsfeld à Teistungen. Une visite guidée finale attend les intéressés. Au « Ruban Vert », on peut très bien observer le développement de la zone de la mort à une ligne de vie et la pensée de la jonction des biotopes dans le paysage culturel environnant.

Your hike leads you along the former inner-German border mostly on still existing patrol track slabs as well as field and forest paths. The day route continues south into the landscape of Untereichsfeld with appealing views in and out. You hike to the art object „West-Eastern Gate“ near Wehnde, which reminds in a special way of the German division. Your hiking destination is the Borderland Museum Eichsfeld in Teistungen. For interested parties, there is a final guided tour waiting here. Along the „Green Belt“ you can very well see the development from death strip to lifeline and the idea of the biotope network in the surrounding cultural landscape.
