Was die ehemalige Grenze zum Schutz der Natur beigetragen hat, kann auf der knapp 11 Kilometer langen Rundstrecke bei Trappstadt erkundet werden.  Die Informationstafeln geben eine Einblicke in die Zeit der Grenzüberwachung, aber auch der dadurch entstandenen Rückzugsgebiete für Tiere und Pflanzen. Für große und kleine Kinder bieten einige Elemente spielerische Abwechslung entlang der Strecke. Und natürlich rundet der ein oder andere Ausblick auf die Rhön, die Haßberge und die Gleichberge den Ausflug perfekt ab.

Ce que l'ancienne frontière a contribué à la protection de la nature peut être découvert sur un circuit d'environ 11 kilomètres près de Trappstadt.  Les panneaux d'information donnent un aperçu de la période de surveillance frontalière, mais aussi des zones de refuge qui en ont résulté pour les animaux et les plantes. Pour les grands et les petits enfants, certains éléments le long du parcours offrent des moments ludiques. Et bien sûr, une ou plusieurs vues sur la Rhön, les Haßberge et les Gleichberge complètent parfaitement la sortie.

What the former border has contributed to nature conservation can be explored on the nearly 11-kilometer circular route near Trappstadt. The information boards provide insights into the time of border surveillance but also the resulting refuges for animals and plants. Several elements along the route offer playful variety for both big and small children. And of course, the occasional viewpoint over the Rhön, the Haßberge, and the Gleichberge perfectly rounds off the excursion.
