Die Stadtkirche St. Marien und das unter Denkmalschutz stehende Rathaus mit seinem auffälligen überdachten Treppenaufgang prägen das Stadtzentrum von Laucha – dem Ausgangspunkt der Wanderung. Entlang der alten Stadtmauer führt der Weg vorbei am gut erhaltenen Obertor, die Doppeltoranlage besteht aus einem Außentor und einem Torhaus. In der warmen Jahreszeit finden hier zahlreiche Veranstaltungen statt. Auf der Südwestseite des Unstruttals liegen die Hänge zwischen Plößnitz und Krawinkel. Es ist die „Schattenseite“ des Tals, so sind die Hänge bis heute überwiegend bewaldet. Das Borntal hat sich hier tief eingeschnitten. Der abwechslungsreiche Weg führt nach Plößnitz, wo die alte Dorfkirche aus dem Schaumkalk der ehemaligen Steinbrüche in der Umgebung gebaut wurde. Diese alten Steinbrüche sind zum Teil noch sichtbar. Die Wanderung im Tal, im schattigen Wald mit seiner artenreichen Flora sucht ihresgleichen. Sie sollten, sofern Sie genügend Zeit haben, den Weg mit einem Abstecher nach Krawinkel verlängern, dort erwartet Sie ein besonderes Highlights: der Orchideenrundweg. Wegverlauf: Laucha am Markt – Drachenwinkel – Plößnitz – Laucha (Abstecher nach Krawinkel) Tipp: Der Borntal-Rundweg lässt sich mit dem Ennsberg-Rundweg kombinieren und bis zum Orchideenpfad bei Krawinkel verbinden. Im Westen bieten sich Verbindungswege nach Bad Bibra an. L'église paroissiale Saint-Marien et l'hôtel de ville classé monument avec son impressionnant escalier couvert caractérisent le centre-ville de Laucha – point de départ de la randonnée. Le chemin longe l'ancienne muraille de la ville et passe devant la bien conservée porte Obertor, une double porte composée d'une porte extérieure et d'une maison de porte. De nombreuses manifestations ont lieu ici pendant la saison chaude. Sur le versant sud-ouest de la vallée de l'Unstrut se trouvent les pentes entre Plößnitz et Krawinkel. C'est le « côté ombragé » de la vallée, les pentes sont donc encore majoritairement boisées aujourd'hui. La vallée de Borntal s'est profondément enfoncée ici. Le chemin varié conduit à Plößnitz, où l'ancienne église du village est construite en calcaire spumeux provenant des anciennes carrières des environs. Certaines de ces anciennes carrières sont encore partiellement visibles. La randonnée dans la vallée, dans la forêt ombragée avec sa flore riche en espèces, est unique. Si tu as suffisamment de temps, tu devrais prolonger le parcours avec un détour par Krawinkel, où t'attend une attraction spéciale : le parcours des orchidées. The St. Mary’s city church and the listed town hall with its striking covered staircase shape the city center of Laucha - the starting point of the hike. Along the old city wall, the path leads past the well-preserved Obertor gate; the double gate complex consists of an outer gate and a gatehouse. Numerous events take place here during the warm season. On the southwest side of the Unstrut valley lie the slopes between Plößnitz and Krawinkel. This is the “shady side” of the valley, so the slopes are still mostly wooded. The Borntal valley has deeply cut into the terrain here. The varied path leads to Plößnitz, where the old village church was built from the foam limestone of the former local quarries. Some of these old quarries are still partially visible. The hike in the valley, in the shady forest with its species-rich flora, is unique. If you have enough time, you should extend the path with a detour to Krawinkel, where a special highlight awaits you: the orchid circular route.
