Die Wanderung beginnt auf dem Wanderparkplatz an der Saale in Trebnitz. Eine Aussichtsplattform mit Blick auf die Saale, Infotafeln und ein Rastplatz sind der ideale Beginn. Bergan geht es auf einem schmalen Waldpfad, auf der Lichtung mit Blick ins Saaletal bieten sich Sichtachsen bis hin nach Friedeburg. Durch Felder wird die Halde des ehemaligen Kalisalzbergwerks Johannashall sichtbar. Das beschauliche Dorf Beesenstedt wartet mit einem Schloss auf. Der Kloschwitzer Bach trieb einst die Eismühle und die Kloschwitzer Mühle an. Fragmente am Wegesrand lassen erahnen, wo die Mühlen einst klapperten. Alte Obstplantagen wechseln sich ab mit schattigen Laubwäldern und steilen Tälern. Von Kloschwitz wandern Sie direkt an der Saale zurück nach Trebitz. Diese Wanderung können Sie mit einer Wanderung ins Kühlbachtal oder ins Stengelholz über die Himmelsleiter kombinieren.

Through fields, the spoil heap of the former potash salt mine Johannashall becomes visible. The quaint village of Beesenstedt awaits with a castle. The Kloschwitz Creek once powered the ice mill and the Kloschwitz mill. Fragments along the path hint at where the mills once clattered. Old orchards alternate with shady deciduous forests and steep valleys. From Kloschwitz, you hike directly along the Saale back to Trebitz. You can combine this hike with a hike into the Kühlbachtal or into the Stengelholz via the Ladder to Heaven.
