Die Runde auf den Finkelberg besticht durch einen überwiegend festen Untergrund und eine geringe Steigung. Sie ist daher gut zu laufen, auch mit Kinderwagen. Das Finkelberghäuschen auf dem Finkelberg bietet eine Möglichkeit zur Rast und einen schönen Rundumblick. Der Weg führt entlang von Wiesen und Feldern der Bischofsheimer Flur. Vom Zentralparkplatz geht es in die Kissingerstraße bis zum Finkelbergweg, der direkt hinauf zum Finkelberghäuschen führt. Nach Rast und Rundblick geht es weiter, hinunter zum Hauptweg und bis zum Bildstock am Wegesrand. Nach links läuft man bis zur nächsten Kreuzung auf dem Rundwanderweg Nr. 4. und biegt rechts ab. Jetzt geht es ca. 400 Meter geradeaus. Dann hält man sich links und überquert den Bach. Gemächlich zieht sich der Weg nach oben bis man den mit 540 Metern höchsten Punkt der Tour erreicht. Hier hat man ein weiteres Mal einen schönen Blick auf Bischofsheim bevor der Weg allmählich bergab führt. Nach Überqueren des Baches hält man sich links auf dem Rundwanderweg Nr. 4 bis zur nächsten Kreuzung und biegt an dieser rechts ab. Der Weg führt zurück auf den Finkelbergpfad und weiter zum Zentralparkplatz.

Le parcours du Finkelberg se caractérise par un sol majoritairement ferme et une faible pente. Il est donc facile à parcourir, même avec une poussette. La petite cabane du Finkelberg offre un endroit pour se reposer ainsi qu’une belle vue panoramique. Le chemin traverse des prairies et champs de la campagne de Bischofsheim. Depuis le parking central, on emprunte la Kissingerstraße jusqu'au Finkelbergweg, qui mène directement en haut jusqu'à la cabane du Finkelberg. Après la pause et la vue panoramique, on continue en descendant vers le chemin principal jusqu'au calvaire en bord de chemin. On tourne à gauche et continue jusqu’au prochain croisement sur le sentier circulaire n° 4, où l’on tourne à droite. Ensuite, on suit ce chemin sur environ 400 mètres tout droit, puis on reste à gauche pour traverser le ruisseau. Le chemin monte ensuite tranquillement jusqu'à un point culminant à 540 mètres. De là, on bénéficie à nouveau d’une belle vue sur Bischofsheim avant que le chemin redescende progressivement. Après avoir traversé le ruisseau, on reste à gauche sur le sentier circulaire n° 4 jusqu'au prochain croisement, où l’on tourne à droite. Le chemin revient vers le Finkelbergpfad et continue jusqu'au parking central.

The loop to the Finkelberg is characterized by a mostly solid ground and a gentle slope. It is therefore easy to walk, even with a stroller. The Finkelberghäuschen on the Finkelberg offers a place to rest and a beautiful panoramic view. The path leads along meadows and fields of the Bischofsheim area. From the central parking lot, continue onto Kissingerstraße to the Finkelbergweg, which leads directly up to the Finkelberghäuschen. After a rest and panoramic view, continue down to the main path and to the wayside shrine. Turn left and continue to the next intersection on circular hiking trail no. 4, then turn right. Now continue straight for about 400 meters. Then keep left and cross the stream. The path gently ascends until you reach the highest point of the route at 540 meters. Here you have another beautiful view of Bischofsheim before the path gradually descends. After crossing the stream, keep left on circular hiking trail no. 4 to the next intersection and turn right there. The path leads back onto the Finkelberg path and continues to the central parking lot.
