Die offizielle Route führt auf naturnahen Wegen, teils  mit schönen Weitblicken, um Adorf herum. Bei dieser Wanderung wählen wir die als "Alternative" ausgeschilderte Kultur-Route, die direkt durch die Stadt Adorf hindurch führt, wo sich ein Besuch der Perlmutterausstellung im Freiberger Tor oder ein Abstecher zum Botanischen Garten und der Miniaturschauanlage „Klein Vogtland“ lohnen.

The official route leads on natural paths, partly with beautiful panoramic views, around Adorf. In this hike, we choose the "Alternative" marked cultural route, which leads directly through the town of Adorf, where a visit to the mother-of-pearl exhibition in the Freiberger Gate or a detour to the botanical garden and the miniature exhibition „Small Vogtland“ is worthwhile.

Le parcours officiel suit des chemins proches de la nature, parfois avec de belles vues panoramiques, autour d'Adorf. Pour cette randonnée, nous choisissons la route culturelle dite « alternative », qui traverse directement la ville d'Adorf, où une visite de l'exposition de nacre dans la porte de Freiberg ou une excursion au jardin botanique et à la maquette "Petit Vogtland" valent le coup.

Der Kammweg verläuft auf einem Pfad etwas unterhalb der Gleise der Vogtlandbahn. Wenn der Weg auf die Ortsverbindungsstraße Schöneck – Markneukirchen trifft, gehen Sie den Waldweg in Richtung Wohlbach. Wenige Meter weiter haben Sie eine bemerkenswerte Aussicht auf die Kuppenlandschaft des Vogtlandes. Nach zwei Kilometern durch den Wald vorbei an den Färberlöchern, die auf einer Lehrtafel beschrieben sind, führt Sie der Kammweg zu einer Lichtung. Nun beginnt ein sehr abwechslungsreicher Wegabschnitt mit einem herrlichen Blick auf die Ortschaft Gunzen. Den Ausblick genießend wandern Sie meist leicht bergab bis zum Pfarrwald. Hinunter nach Wohlbach plätschert ein Bach am Weg, und Sie können die ersten Häuser des Ortes erkennen. In die mittelalterliche Kirche des Ortes dürfen Sie gerne einen Blick werfen, bevor es wieder bergan Richtung Hermsgrün geht. Immer etwas oberhalb des kleinen Ortes entlang wandernd, bieten sich Ihnen herrliche Aussichten auf diesen landwirtschaftlich geprägten Ort. Danach folgt eine Waldwanderung in Richtung Adorf im Vogtland. Der Kammweg führt Sie dabei am Bahnhof der Stadt vorbei in Richtung Innenstadt. Sie überqueren die Bundesstraße B92 und die Weiße Elster. Der Fluß entspringt in der Nähe von Asch/Tschechien und mündet in Halle in die Saale. Leicht bergauf verläuft der Kammweg parallel vorbei am Stadtzentrum und Marktplatz. Lohnenswert ist der Abstecher ins Perlmutter- und Heimatmuseum der Stadt, welches im historischen Freiberger Tor beheimatet ist. Aus der Stadt hinaus geht es ein Stück bergauf, dann folgt der Abstieg in das idyllische Tetterweintal. Im gleichnamigen Bach wurden, wie auch in den übrigen Nebenbächen der Weißen Elster, Flussperlmuscheln künstlich ausgesetzt - der Bach galt als “gutes Perlwasser”. 1937 wurde der Bestand im Bach auf bis zu 6.000 Muscheln geschätzt. Hier können Sie sich einen Eindruck über die Renaturierung eines einst extensiv landwirtschaftlich genutzten Tales verschaffen. Im Tal treffen Kammweg und Vogtland Panorama Weg (VPW) aufeinander - ab hier nun den roten Buchstaben "VPW" folgen. Hinaus aus dem Tetterweinbachtal geht es auf dem VPW ein letztes Mal streng bergauf. Dabei wird auch die noch erkennbare Trasse der ehemaligen Bahnlinie Adorf – Hranice (Rossbach) gequert, bis schließlich die Ortsstraße zwischen Adorf und Gettengrün erreicht ist. Ein Stück auf der Straße nach rechts, nach ca. 300 m wieder links in den Wald abbiegen und den Hinweisen zum „Alten Schloss“, einer frühdeutschen Ringwallanlage, folgen. Weiter vorbei an der Römerhütte bis Bad Elster. Durch den Albert-Park, vorbei am Königlichen Kurhaus, führt der Weg die Badstraße überquerend, zum Badeplatz, wo man den Tag gemütlich ausklingen lassen kann.

The Ridge Trail runs along a path a little below the Vogtlandbahn tracks. When the trail meets the connecting road Schöneck – Markneukirchen, follow the forest path towards Wohlbach. A few meters further, you have a remarkable view of the hill landscape of Vogtland. After two kilometers through the forest past the Dyer's Holes, described on an information board, the Ridge Trail leads you to a clearing. Now begins a very varied section with a magnificent view of the village of Gunzen. Enjoying the view, you mostly walk slightly downhill to the parish forest. A creek babbles down to Wohlbach along the path, and you can see the first houses of the village. Feel free to take a look inside the medieval church of the village before heading uphill again towards Hermsgrün. Always walking somewhat above the small village, you have beautiful views of this agriculturally shaped village. Then follows a forest hike towards Adorf in Vogtland. The Ridge Trail leads you past the town's station towards the city center. You cross the federal road B92 and the White Elster river. The river originates near Asch/Czech Republic and flows into the Saale in Halle. Slightly uphill, the Ridge Trail runs parallel past the city center and market square. A detour to the Mother-of-Pearl and Local History Museum of the city, housed in the historic Freiberger Gate, is worthwhile. Leaving the town, the trail goes uphill a bit, then follows the descent into the idyllic Tetterwein valley. In the eponymous creek, as in the other tributaries of the White Elster, freshwater pearl mussels were artificially introduced – the creek was considered “good pearl water”. In 1937, the population in the creek was estimated at up to 6,000 mussels. Here you can get an impression of the renaturation of a once extensively farmed valley. In the valley, Ridge Trail and Vogtland Panorama Trail (VPW) meet – from here follow the red letters "VPW". Out of the Tetterwein valley, take the VPW uphill one last time. The still visible track of the former Adorf – Hranice (Rossbach) railway line is also crossed until the village road between Adorf and Gettengrün is reached. A bit on the road to the right, then after about 300 m turn left into the forest again and follow the signs to the "Old Castle", an early Germanic ring wall site. Continue past the Roman hut to Bad Elster. Through the Albert Park, past the Royal Spa House, the path crosses Badstrasse to the bathing area where you can end the day comfortably.

In die mittelalterliche Kirche des Ortes dürfen Sie gerne einen Blick werfen, bevor es wieder bergan Richtung Hermsgrün geht. Immer etwas oberhalb des kleinen Ortes entlang wandernd, bieten sich Ihnen herrliche Aussichten auf diesen landwirtschaftlich geprägten Ort. Danach folgt eine Waldwanderung in Richtung Adorf im Vogtland. Der Kammweg führt Sie dabei am Bahnhof der Stadt vorbei in Richtung Innenstadt. Sie überqueren die Bundesstraße B92 und die Weiße Elster. Der Fluß entspringt in der Nähe von Asch/Tschechien und mündet in Halle in die Saale. Leicht bergauf verläuft der Kammweg parallel vorbei am Stadtzentrum und Marktplatz. Lohnenswert ist der Abstecher ins Perlmutter- und Heimatmuseum der Stadt, welches im historischen Freiberger Tor beheimatet ist. Aus der Stadt hinaus geht es ein Stück bergauf, dann folgt der Abstieg in das idyllische Tetterweintal. Im gleichnamigen Bach wurden, wie auch in den übrigen Nebenbächen der Weißen Elster, Flussperlmuscheln künstlich ausgesetzt - der Bach galt als “gutes Perlwasser”. 1937 wurde der Bestand im Bach auf bis zu 6.000 Muscheln geschätzt. Hier können Sie sich einen Eindruck über die Renaturierung eines einst extensiv landwirtschaftlich genutzten Tales verschaffen. Im Tal treffen Kammweg und Vogtland Panorama Weg (VPW) aufeinander - ab hier nun den roten Buchstaben "VPW" folgen.</p> <p>Hinaus aus dem Tetterweinbachtal geht es auf dem VPW ein letztes Mal streng bergauf. Dabei wird auch die noch erkennbare Trasse der ehemaligen Bahnlinie Adorf – Hranice (Rossbach) gequert, bis schließlich die Ortsstraße zwischen Adorf und Gettengrün erreicht ist. Ein Stück auf der Straße nach rechts, nach ca. 300 m wieder links in den Wald abbiegen und den Hinweisen zum „Alten Schloss“, einer frühdeutschen Ringwallanlage, folgen. Weiter vorbei an der Römerhütte bis Bad Elster. Durch den Albert-Park, vorbei am Königlichen Kurhaus, führt der Weg die Badstraße überquerend, zum Badeplatz, wo man den Tag gemütlich ausklingen lassen kann.</p>
