Der Wichtelpfad kann über 3 Rundwege, wenn man nicht die selbe Strecke wieder zurück möchte, belaufen werden. Am Herschdorfer Wanderparkplatz Naturpark-Tor Langer Berg beginnend, läuf man bis zum Wanderparkplatz Willmersdorf, biegt dann rechts bergauf, dem Pilzsteig zum Langen Berg Denkmal entlang in Richtung Gillersdorf. Oberhalb Gillersdorfs biegt man links in Richtung Willmersdorf - Herschdorf, vorbei an den historischen Schieferbrüchen. (ca. 8km) In Willmersdorf auf dem Willmersdorfer Wanderparkplatz beginnend, läuft man zum Wanderparkplatz Naturpark-Tor Herschdorf. Dort biegt man in Richtung Gehren links ab und an der nächsten Wegkreuzung biegt man links ab zum, Lange Berg Denkmal. Vom Denkmal läuft man wieder den leben Weg bis zur nächsten Wegkreuzung zurück und biegt da rechts ab zum Wanderparkplatz Willmersdorf. (ca. 5,6 km) Vom Wanderparkplatz Gillersdorf läuft man in Richtung Langer Berg, und biegt an der zweiten Kreuzung in Richtung Historische Schieferbrüche nach Willmersdorf ab. Kurz vor der Kreisstraße biegt man links in den Wand, um dann 200 m weiter wieder rechts in den naturbelassenen Weg nach Willmersdorf einbiegt. Unterhalb des Wasserbassins biegt man wieder links zum Wandrand ab und läuft rechts vorbei am Wanderparkplatz Willmersdorf zum Wanderparkplatz Naturpark-Tor Langer Berg oberhalb Herschdorfs. Dort biegt man in Richtung Gehren links ab und an der nächsten Wegkreuzung links der Beschilderung zum Lange Berg Denkmal folgend. Am Langen Berg Denkmal folgt man den Wegweisern in Richtung Gillersdorf. (ca. 8 km)

Le sentier des lutins peut être parcouru via 3 boucles différentes, si l'on ne souhaite pas revenir sur le même chemin. En partant du parking de randonnée Naturpark-Tor Langer Berg à Herschdorf, on marche jusqu'au parking de Willmersdorf, puis on tourne à droite en montée, suit le sentier des champignons jusqu'au monument du Langen Berg en direction de Gillersdorf. Au-dessus de Gillersdorf, on tourne à gauche en direction de Willmersdorf - Herschdorf, en passant par les anciennes carrières d'ardoise historiques. (env. 8 km) En partant du parking de Willmersdorf, on marche jusqu'au parking Naturpark-Tor Herschdorf. Là, on tourne à gauche en direction de Gehren et au prochain croisement on tourne à gauche vers le monument du Langen Berg. Du monument, on revient sur le sentier principal jusqu'au prochain croisement puis tourne à droite vers le parking de Willmersdorf. (env. 5,6 km) Du parking de Gillersdorf, on marche vers le Langen Berg et à la deuxième intersection, on tourne en direction des anciennes carrières d'ardoise vers Willmersdorf. Peu avant la route circulaire, on tourne à gauche vers la forêt, puis 200 m plus loin à droite vers un chemin naturel menant à Willmersdorf. En dessous du bassin d'eau, on tourne à nouveau à gauche vers la lisière de la forêt et marche à droite en passant par le parking de Willmersdorf jusqu'au parking Naturpark-Tor Langer Berg au-dessus de Herschdorf. Là, on tourne à gauche en direction de Gehren puis au prochain croisement, on suit la signalisation à gauche vers le monument du Langen Berg. Au monument du Langen Berg, on suit les panneaux vers Gillersdorf. (env. 8 km)

The Wichtelpfad can be walked over 3 circular routes if you do not want to walk the same route back. Starting at the Herschdorf hiking car park Naturpark-Tor Langer Berg, one walks to the Willmersdorf car park, then turns right uphill, following the Pilzsteig to the Langer Berg monument towards Gillersdorf. Above Gillersdorf, turn left towards Willmersdorf - Herschdorf, passing the historic slate quarries. (approx. 8km) Starting at the Willmersdorf hiking car park in Willmersdorf, walk to the Naturpark-Tor Herschdorf car park. There, turn left towards Gehren and at the next crossroads turn left to the Langer Berg monument. From the monument, walk back along the path to the next crossroad, then turn right to the Willmersdorf car park. (approx. 5.6 km) From the Gillersdorf car park, walk towards Langer Berg and at the second junction turn towards the historic slate quarries to Willmersdorf. Shortly before the district road, turn left into the forest, then 200 m further right onto the natural path to Willmersdorf. Below the water basin, turn left again to the forest edge, then walk right past the Willmersdorf car park to the Naturpark-Tor Langer Berg car park above Herschdorf. There turn left towards Gehren and at the next crossroad follow signs left to the Langer Berg monument. At the Langer Berg monument, follow the signposts towards Gillersdorf. (approx. 8 km)
