Fladungen gibt es die bemerkenswerte Kombination von Museum und Eisenbahn: In Bayerns nördlichster Stadt befindet sich das Fränkische Freilandmuseum mit vielen Exponaten aus ganz Unterfranken. Daneben das Rhönmuseum, ein Heimatmuseum, u.a. mit Fundstücken aus prähistorischen Siedlungen und Gräbern. Direkt am Freilandmuseum befindet sich auch der Heimatbahnhof des „Rhönzügle“, zu ausgewählten Terminen im Sommerhalbjahr durch das Streutal dampft und dabei auch Fahrgäste nebst ihren Rädern mitnimmt.

Fladungen offers the remarkable combination of museum and railway: In Bavaria's northernmost town there is the Franconian Open-Air Museum with many exhibits from all over Lower Franconia. Next to it is the Rhön Museum, a local history museum, including finds from prehistoric settlements and graves. Directly at the open-air museum is also the home station of the "Rhönzügle," which steams through the Streu valley on selected dates in the summer half-year, also carrying guests with their bikes.

Fladungen, il existe une combinaison remarquable de musée et de chemin de fer : dans la ville la plus septentrionale de Bavière se trouve le musée de plein air franconien avec de nombreuses pièces d'exposition provenant de toute la Basse-Franconie. À côté, le musée de la Rhön, un musée local, présente entre autres des objets trouvés dans des colonies préhistoriques et des tombes. La gare d'origine du "Rhönzügle", qui circule à travers la vallée de la Streu à des dates choisies durant le semestre d'été et qui transporte également des passagers et leurs vélos, se trouve directement au musée de plein air.
