Der Planetenwanderweg Suhl, knapp vier Kilometer lang, vermittelt uns die Dimensionen unseres Sonnensystems. Beginnend an der Sternwarte, die die Sonne symbolisiert, wandern wir über vier Kilometer bis zu dem entferntesten Planeten - dem Pluto - an der Gaststätte Waldfrieden.  100 Meter auf unserem Wanderweg entsprechen sagenhaften 150.000.000 Kilometer (1 Astronomische Einheit) in unserem Sonnensystem. Genau diese 100 Meter von der Sternwarte (der Sonne) entfernt ist unser Heimatplanet Erde. Der Saturn ist schon einen Kilometer (10 AE = 1.500.000.000 Kilometer) entfernt. Und bis zum Pluto sind es auf unserem Weg nur 4 Kilometer, im Weltraum jedoch sind es 40 AE, d.h. 4,5 Milliarden Kilometer.

Le parcours des planètes Suhl, long d'environ quatre kilomètres, nous fait découvrir les dimensions de notre système solaire. En partant de l'observatoire, qui symbolise le soleil, nous parcourons plus de quatre kilomètres jusqu'à la planète la plus éloignée – Pluton – à la auberge Waldfrieden.  100 mètres sur notre parcours correspondent à une distance incroyable de 150 000 000 kilomètres (1 unité astronomique) dans notre système solaire. C’est précisément à 100 mètres de l'observatoire (le soleil) que se trouve notre planète d'origine, la Terre. Saturne est déjà à un kilomètre (10 UA = 1 500 000 000 kilomètres). Et jusqu'à Pluton, il n'y a que 4 kilomètres sur notre chemin, tandis que dans l'espace, cela représente 40 UA, soit 4,5 milliards de kilomètres.

The Planet Trail Suhl, just under four kilometers long, conveys the dimensions of our solar system. Starting at the observatory, which symbolizes the sun, we walk over four kilometers to the farthest planet - Pluto - at the Waldfrieden inn.  100 meters on our hiking trail correspond to an incredible 150,000,000 kilometers (1 astronomical unit) in our solar system. Exactly these 100 meters from the observatory (the sun) away is our home planet Earth. Saturn is already one kilometer (10 AU = 1,500,000,000 kilometers) away. And to Pluto, it is only 4 kilometers on our path, but in space, it is 40 AU, i.e., 4.5 billion kilometers.
