About: Rundwanderung - "Buntsandsteinrunde" - Neustadt an der Orla, Circular hike - "Buntsandstein route" - Neustadt an der Orla, Randonnée circulaire - "Boucle du grès rouge" - Neustadt an der Orla

Unsere Rundwanderung beginnt am Wandertreff mit Informationtafel in der Neustädter Dimitroffstraße. Auf einem Feldweg geht es entlang der Kastenteiche bis zu einem Abzweig, an dem sich mehrere Wanderwege treffen. Wir laufen weiter geradeaus in Richtung Heinrichsruhe, die schon zu sehen ist. Der Weg führt bergauf und wir folgen der Wegmarkierung - weißes Quadrat mit grünem Dreieck. Am Wohnmobilstellplatz Heinrichsruhe kann man kurz in einer Rehraufe verweilen und einen herrlichen Blick auf Neustadt an der Orla genießen. Wir gehen weiter in Richtung Wald und folgen dem Waldweg bis zur Hohen Straße. Nach Querung der Hohen Straße geht es leicht bergab bis zur nächsten Wegkreuzung im Tal der Fuchsteiche. Der Weg steigt jetzt an, bis wir zur Struppschützenhütte kommen. Nun geht es ein kleines Stück auf der kaum befahrenen Straße bis zum Ortseingang von Strößwitz weiter. Hier ist ein kurzer Abstecher in den gepflegten Ortskern und zur Gaststätte "Zur Einkehr" möglich. Wir aber folgen der Landstraße, die vor dem Ort rechts bergab führt, weiter in Richtung Pillingsdorf. Wir verlassen die Landstraße und gehen auf dem Wirtschaftsweg weiter, der in der Senke beginnt und gleichzeitig der Tälerpilgerweg ist. Der Weg führt durch den Wald direkt nach Pillingsdorf mit seinen schmucken Fachwerkhöfen. Etwa 150 m nach dem Dorfteich biegen wir rechts zwischen den Häusern ab auf eine Wiese in Richtung Hainmühle (ein Bauernhof). Wir laufen bergauf und gelangen auf die Landstraße, die wir in Richtung Zwackau weiterlaufen. In der Ortsmitte befindet sich das Gasthaus Zwackau. Unser Weg zweigt rechts mit der Straße in Richtung Rosendorf ab. Nach ca. 300 m verlassen wir die Straße und nehmen den Wanderweg auf der rechten Seite, immer der Wegmarkierung folgend und gehen in den Wald hinein. Der Weg ist ebenerdig und führt zu einem Aussichtspunkt, von dem man die Orlasenke und Rosendorf bewundern kann. Der Weg führt weiter scharf rechts in den Wald hinein und bergab bis zum Feldweg nach Rosendorf. Im Ort angekommen, durchqueren wir diesen in Richtung Wald und laufen auf unserem Wanderweg weiter, der leicht ansteigt. Im Wald folgen wir der Wegmarkierung, bis wir an einer Waldkreuzung links abbiegen und kurz darauf eine Aspaltstraße erreichen. Geradeaus folgen wir dieser ein kleines Stück und biegen dann rechts auf den Waldweg ein. Unser Weg folgt nun dem Erlebnispfad, vorbei an der Mückerquelle, und führt uns bis zum Parkplatz des Bismarckturms. Während der Sommerwochenenden kann der Turm bestiegen und ein phantastischer Rundumblick genossen werden. Wir aber überqueren die Hohe Straße und folgen dem Wanderweg weiter in Richtung der Kastenteiche. Am Kahlshaus vorbei (einem kleinen Bauernhof) erreichen wir die Kastenteiche und gelangen wieder zum Ausgangspunkt.

Notre randonnée circulaire commence au point de rencontre des randonneurs avec panneau d'information dans la Dimitroffstraße de Neustadt. Un chemin de campagne longe les étangs de Kastenteiche jusqu'à une bifurcation où se rejoignent plusieurs sentiers de randonnée. Nous continuons tout droit en direction de Heinrichsruhe, que l'on peut déjà voir. Le chemin monte et nous suivons le balisage - carré blanc avec triangle vert. Au parking pour camping-cars Heinrichsruhe, on peut s'arrêter un moment dans une mangeoire pour chevreuils et admirer une vue magnifique sur Neustadt an der Orla. Nous continuons en direction de la forêt et suivons le chemin forestier jusqu'à la Hohe Straße. Après avoir traversé la Hohe Straße, la descente est douce jusqu'à la prochaine croisée de chemins dans la vallée des étangs Fuchsteiche. Le chemin monte ensuite jusqu'à la cabane Struppschützenhütte. Puis, on continue un petit bout sur une route peu fréquentée jusqu'à l'entrée du village de Strößwitz. Un court détour dans le centre soigné du village et à la guesthouse "Zur Einkehr" est possible. Nous suivons cependant la route nationale qui descend à droite avant le village, en direction de Pillingsdorf. Nous quittons la route nationale et continuons sur un chemin agricole qui commence dans la dépression et qui est aussi le chemin de pèlerinage des vallées. Le chemin traverse la forêt directement vers Pillingsdorf avec ses jolies fermes à colombages. Environ 150 m après l'étang du village, nous tournons à droite entre les maisons vers un pré en direction du moulin Hainmühle (une ferme). Nous montons et rejoignons la route nationale que nous suivons en direction de Zwackau. Au centre du village se trouve la guesthouse Zwackau. Notre chemin bifurque à droite avec la route en direction de Rosendorf. Après environ 300 m, nous quittons la route et prenons le sentier de randonnée sur la droite, en suivant toujours le balisage, et entrons dans la forêt. Le chemin est plat et mène à un point de vue d'où l'on peut admirer la dépression de l'Orla et Rosendorf. Le chemin tourne vivement à droite dans la forêt et descend jusqu'au chemin de campagne menant à Rosendorf. Arrivés au village, nous le traversons en direction de la forêt et poursuivons notre sentier de randonnée qui monte légèrement. Dans la forêt, nous suivons le balisage jusqu'à une croisée forestière où nous tournons à gauche puis atteignons peu après une route asphaltée. Nous la suivons tout droit sur une courte distance puis tournons à droite sur un chemin forestier. Notre sentier suit maintenant le sentier d'expérience, passe à côté de la source Mückerquelle et nous mène jusqu'au parking de la tour Bismarck. Pendant les week-ends d'été, il est possible de monter dans la tour pour profiter d'une vue panoramique fantastique. Nous traversons cependant la Hohe Straße et suivons le sentier vers les étangs Kastenteiche. En passant par la maison Kahlshaus (une petite ferme), nous atteignons les étangs Kastenteiche et revenons au point de départ.

Our circular hike begins at the meeting point with an information board in Neustadt's Dimitroffstraße. A field path leads along the Kastenteiche (ponds) to a junction where several hiking trails meet. We continue straight ahead towards Heinrichsruhe, which can already be seen. The path goes uphill and we follow the trail mark - white square with green triangle. At the motorhome parking area Heinrichsruhe, you can briefly rest at a deer feeder and enjoy a wonderful view of Neustadt an der Orla. We continue towards the forest and follow the forest path to Hohe Straße. After crossing Hohe Straße, it goes gently downhill to the next junction in the valley of the Fuchsteiche. The path now rises until we reach the Struppschützenhütte. Now it goes a short distance on the almost unused road to the entrance of Strößwitz. Here, a brief detour into the well-kept village center and to the inn "Zur Einkehr" is possible. However, we follow the country road, which slopes down to the right before the village, further towards Pillingsdorf. We leave the country road and continue on the farm road, which begins in the hollow and is at the same time the Tälpilgrimage route. The path leads through the forest directly to Pillingsdorf with its neat half-timbered farms. About 150 m after the village pond, we turn right between the houses onto a meadow towards Hainmühle (a farm). We walk uphill and reach the country road, which we continue towards Zwackau. In the village center is the Gasthaus Zwackau. Our path branches off to the right with the street towards Rosendorf. After about 300 m we leave the street and take the hiking trail on the right side, always following the trail mark, and go into the forest. The path is level and leads to a viewpoint from which you can admire the Orla basin and Rosendorf. The path then turns sharply right into the forest and downhill to the field path to Rosendorf. Upon reaching the village, we cross it towards the forest and continue on our hiking trail, which gently ascends. In the forest, we follow the trail mark until we turn left at a forest junction and shortly thereafter reach an asphalt road. We follow this straight ahead for a short distance and then turn right onto the forest path. Our route now follows the adventure trail, past the Mückerquelle spring, and leads us to the parking lot of the Bismarck Tower. During the summer weekends, the tower can be climbed and a fantastic panoramic view enjoyed. However, we cross Hohe Straße and follow the hiking trail further towards the Kastenteiche. Past Kahlshaus (a small farm), we reach the Kastenteiche and return to the starting point.
