About: Legendary hike Teufelsmühle - Bischofsheim - Rhön, Sagenhafte Wanderung Teufelsmühle - Bischofsheim - Rhön

Our Legend Trail begins at the Holzberghof hiking car park on Rhönstrasse. From here, we walk past the Holzberghof hunting lodge. It was originally built as a hunting and forestry lodge and later expanded with a castle annex. Today it is a restaurant. Nevertheless, the outdoor grounds are also a great place for a picnic. From here, we continue south on circular trail no. 9. We leave this trail and gradually enter wooded areas, walking along a forest path towards the Schwarzbach stream. The closer we get, the more we hear the water. A short path leads down, and we can already see the bridge from which we have a great view of the waterfall and also learn the story of the legend. From here, we climb a few steps back up to the hiking trail and follow circular trail 4 until we reach the car park again.

Unser Sagenweg beginnt am Wanderparkplatz Holzberghof an der Rhönstraße. Von hier aus laufen wir über das Jagdschloss Holzberghof. Von hier aus geht es wieder ein paar Stufen zum Wanderweg nach oben und wir folgen den Rundweg 4, bis wir wieder am Parkplatz sind.
