Vom Parkplatz führt der Weg über den lang gestreckten Sattel des Horstberges und bietet Ihnen stets eine schöne Aussicht entlang des Waldrandes nach Westen. Genießen Sie die Ruhe und die frische Waldluft auf diesem naturnahen Abschnitt. Am Ende des Waldes biegt der Weg scharf nach Südosten ab und führt Sie auf einem idyllischen Waldweg bis kurz vor die Ortschaft Gichenbach. Hier können Sie einen Blick auf das charmante Dorf erhaschen, bevor die Route Sie wieder zurückführt. Am Waldende überqueren Sie nach einem kurzen Anstieg die Kreisstraße. Nur etwa 200 Meter entlang dieser Straße erreichen Sie wieder Ihren Ausgangspunkt. Diese Tour ist ideal für alle, die eine unkomplizierte Wanderung mit angenehmen Waldpassagen und schönen Ausblicken in die Rhöner Landschaft suchen.

Depuis le parking, le sentier mène sur la large crête du Horstberg et vous offre à tout moment une belle vue le long de la lisière forestière vers l’ouest. Profitez du calme et de l’air pur de la forêt sur ce tronçon proche de la nature. Au bout de la forêt, le chemin bifurque brusquement vers le sud-est et vous conduit sur un sentier forestier idyllique jusqu’à proximité du village de Gichenbach. Vous pouvez y apercevoir ce charmant village avant que la route ne vous ramène vers le point de départ. À la lisière de la forêt, après une courte montée, vous traversez la route de district. Environ 200 mètres le long de cette route vous ramènent à votre point de départ. Ce parcours est idéal pour ceux qui cherchent une randonnée sans complications avec des passages agréables en forêt et de belles vues sur le paysage rhönien.

From the car park, the path leads over the elongated saddle of the Horstberg and always offers you a beautiful view along the forest edge to the west. Enjoy the tranquility and fresh forest air on this natural section. At the end of the forest, the path turns sharply southeast and leads you along an idyllic forest path just before the village of Gichenbach. Here you can catch a glimpse of the charming village before the route takes you back. At the end of the forest, after a short climb, you cross the district road. Only about 200 meters along this road will bring you back to your starting point. This tour is ideal for anyone looking for an uncomplicated hike with pleasant forest sections and beautiful views of the Rhön landscape.
