Die Fahnersche Höhe ist aufgrund ihrer zentralen Lage und erhabenen Landschaftsarchitektur ein exponiert gelegener Höhenzug, der vor allem für das Auge einiges zu bieten hat. Entlang des Waldsaums gibt es viele Aussichtspunkte, die zum Verweilen einladen und tolle Fernsichten auf Thüringer Wald und Thüringer Becken bieten.  Sie können etliche Fernsichten erhaschen und auf alten Bänken verweilen. Von der Bienstädter Höhe lassen sich viele Gipfel des Thüringer Waldes beobachten, vom Inselsberg bis zum Masserberg. Oberhalb Kleinfahner bietet sich ein atemberaubender Blick über das östliche Thüringer Becken.  Sie erleben entlang des geräumigen Imtals eine beweideten Lichtung, die auf eine geologische Störung zurückgeht. Alte, mit Sträuchern und Steinobstbäumen besäumte Kulturwege weisen Ihnen den Weg.  Sie erwartet zudem eine Kirsch-Plantage mit einem wahrhaft historischen Baum, der vor mehr als 200 Jahren gepflanzt wurde.

La colline de Fahner, du fait de sa position centrale et de son architecture paysagère impressionnante, est une crête exposée qui offre beaucoup à contempler. Le long de la lisière de la forêt, de nombreux points de vue invitent à la pause et offrent de superbes vues à longue distance sur la forêt de Thuringe et le bassin de Thuringe.  Vous pouvez apercevoir de nombreux panoramas et vous reposer sur d'anciens bancs. Depuis la colline de Bienstädter, beaucoup de sommets de la forêt de Thuringe sont observables, de l'Inselsberg au Masserberg. Au-dessus de Kleinfahner, une vue à couper le souffle s'offre sur le bassin oriental de Thuringe.  Vous découvrirez, le long de la vallée large d'Imtal, une clairière pâturée liée à une faille géologique. D’anciens chemins culturels bordés d’arbustes et d’arbres fruitiers à noyau vous guideront.  Vous trouverez aussi une plantation de cerisiers avec un arbre véritablement historique, planté il y a plus de 200 ans.

The Fahner Höhe is an exposed ridge due to its central location and elevated landscape architecture, which especially offers a lot for the eye. Along the forest edge, there are many viewpoints inviting you to linger and offering great views of the Thuringian Forest and the Thuringian Basin.  You can catch numerous distant views and rest on old benches. From the Bienstädter Höhe, many peaks of the Thuringian Forest can be observed, from Inselsberg to Masserberg. Above Kleinfahner, there is a breathtaking view over the eastern Thuringian Basin.  Along the spacious valley, you experience a grazed clearing that traces back to a geological fault. Old cultural paths lined with shrubs and stone fruit trees show you the way.  You will also find a cherry plantation with a truly historic tree that was planted over 200 years ago.
