Die Wanderung beginnt am Parkplatz Obernüst an der Kirche. Ein kurzer Stichweg führt Sie zunächst zum Friedhof. Von hier aus geht es an der Westseite des Hozzelberges entlang zum Katzenstein. Anschließend führt ein reizvoller Höhenweg auf dem Hochrhöner nach Boxberg, von wo aus Sie die umliegende Landschaft genießen können. Von dort aus geht es über die offene Feldflur zurück nach Obernüst, Ihrem Ausgangspunkt. Diese Tour bietet eine angenehme Mischung aus Naturerlebnissen entlang des Grünen Bandes und schönen Ausblicken auf die malerische Rhön. Die Strecke ist gut begehbar und eignet sich hervorragend für einen erholsamen Ausflug in die Natur.

The hike begins at the Obernüst car park by the church. A short side path first leads you to the cemetery. From here, it goes along the west side of the Hozzelberg to the Katzenstein. Then a charming ridge path on the Hochrhöner to Boxberg, from where you can enjoy the surrounding landscape. From there, it returns over the open fields back to Obernüst, your starting point. This tour offers a pleasant mix of natural experiences along the Green Belt and beautiful views of the picturesque Rhön. The route is well walkable and is perfectly suited for a relaxing outdoor excursion.

La randonnée commence au parking Obernüst près de l'église. Un petit chemin vous mène d'abord au cimetière. De là, vous suivez le côté ouest du Hozzelberg jusqu'au Katzenstein. Ensuite, un chemin de hauteur charmant longe le Hochrhöner jusqu'à Boxberg, d'où vous pouvez admirer le paysage environnant. Wir bitten alle aktiven Natursportler aufeinander Rücksicht zu nehmen. Gleiches gilt natürlich auch für die Natur - diese ist schützenswert. In der Rhön soll deshalb nur auf dafür ausgewiesenen Wegen und Flächen Natursport bei Tageslicht betrieben werden.
