Der Weg verläuft anfangs stetig bergauf. In einem kleinen Waldstück gibt es eine Schautafel über die Geschichte vom Schwedenwall – ein Einblick in die militärische Vergangenheit der Region. Von hier aus geht es schließlich noch ein Stück bergauf zum Gipfel der Hohen Hölle. Von hier aus eröffnet sich ein wunderbarer Blick in die bayrische Rhön. Nun geht es bergab zum Sattel zwischen Hoher Hölle und Himmeldunk wo es eine kleine Schutzhütte gibt. Sie folgen weiter der Beschilderung Nr.7 und kommen dann auf den Winterwanderweg Schwedenwall und schließlich zurück zum Parkplatz.

The trail initially climbs steadily uphill. In a small wooded area, there's an information panel about the history of the Schwedenwall (Swedish Wall) – offering a glimpse into the region's military past. From here, the trail continues uphill to the summit of the Hohe Hölle (High Hell). From here, a wonderful view of the Bavarian Rhön opens up. The trail then descends to the saddle between the Hohe Hölle and the Himmeldunk, where there's a small shelter. Continue following trail marker #7, which leads to the Schwedenwall winter hiking trail and finally back to the parking lot.

Le chemin monte régulièrement au début. Dans une petite forêt, il y a un panneau d'information sur l'histoire du Schwedenwall – un aperçu du passé militaire de la région. De là, ça monte encore un peu jusqu’au sommet de la Hohe Hölle. De là, s'ouvre une vue magnifique sur la Rhön bavaroise. Ensuite, ça descend vers la selle entre la Hohe Hölle et Himmeldunk où se trouve un petit abri. Suivez ensuite la signalisation n°7, qui vous mènera au sentier d'hiver Schwedenwall, puis de nouveau au parking.
