Auf dem Rundweg im Roten Moor lässt sich einiges entdecken - zum einen der Aussichtsturm, von dem aus man über die Moorfläche schauen kann; zum anderen die Informationstafeln am Wegesrand, die erklären, wie sich Moore bilden und welche Tiere und Pflanzen in diesem beheimatet sind. Ein weiteres Highlight ist natürlich die einzigartige Naturlandschaft des Rhöner Hochmoores.  Der Moorsee und der Bohlenpfad sind weitere Anlaufziele, welche Groß und Klein begeistern. Zum Schluss lädt das Rote Haus am Parkplatz zum Einkehren und Verweilen ein.

There is plenty to discover along the circular trail at the Rotes Moor: the observation tower, offering views across the expanse of the bog; and the information boards along the path, which explain how bogs form and detail the local flora and fauna. Another highlight is, of course, the unique natural landscape of this Rhön high moor. The bog lake and the boardwalk are further attractions that delight visitors of all ages. Finally, the "Rotes Haus" (Red House) by the car park invites you to stop for a bite to eat and linger a while.
