En atteignant le quartier d'Eubabrunn, il vaut la peine de visiter le musée en plein air. Le musée en plein air du Vogtland à Eubabrunn a reconstruit avec fidélité les bâtiments caractéristiques de l'architecture populaire du Vogtland en un village. L'agriculture, l'élevage et les jardins montrent clairement les modes de travail et de vie d'autrefois des villageois. Le site a même servi de décor de film. Sur une superficie de 4 hectares, il y a trois fermes aménagées d'origine avec les bâtiments annexes et jardins. Les bâtiments ont été déplacés depuis différents lieux du Vogtland. Aucun d'eux ne se trouvait à l'origine ici. Un total de 18 bâtiments datant d'environ 1720 à 1830 présentent des expositions permanentes et spéciales sur différents thèmes. Une zone en plein air comprend des champs où sont cultivées des semences historiques. Des animaux se trouvent dans les pâturages et les étables. Des exilés bohèmes se sont également installés à Erlbach, apportant la construction d'instruments de musique dans la ville. Il y a encore aujourd'hui des ateliers, principalement de fabricants d'instruments à cordes frottées et pincées. Un joyau particulier est le musée du village d'Obervogtland sur Lindenplatz à Erlbach, une maison à double pièce en madriers datant de 1726. L'exposition y documente l'histoire du village et présente l'industrie des instruments de musique.

If you reach the district of Eubabrunn, you should visit the open-air museum. In the Vogtland Open-Air Museum Eubabrunn, characteristic buildings in the folk architecture of Vogtland have been authentically reconstructed as a village complex. Agriculture, livestock and gardens illustrate the former work and lifestyle of the villagers. The site has even served as a film set. On an area of 4 hectares, there are three originally furnished farms with corresponding outbuildings and home gardens. The buildings were relocated from various places in Vogtland. None of them originally stood here. In a total of 18 buildings from around 1720 to 1830, permanent and special exhibitions on various topics are shown. Fields have been laid out on an open area and historic seeds are cultivated. Animals can be found in the pastures and in the stables. Bohemian exiles also settled in Erlbach, bringing the musical instrument making to the place. Workshops still exist today, especially for string and plucked instrument makers. A special gem is the Upper Vogtland Village Museum at Lindenplatz in Erlbach, a double-room log house from 1726. The exhibition documents the history of the village and presents the musical instrument trade.

Erreicht man den Ortsteil Eubabrunn sollte man dem Freilichtmuseum einen Besuch abstatten. Im Vogtländischen Freilichtmuseum Eubabrunn wurden charakteristische Gebäude in der Volksbauweise des Vogtlandes originalgetreu zu einer Dorfanlage wieder aufgebaut. Landbau, Viehhaltung und Gärten machen die frühere Arbeits- und Lebensweise der Dorfbewohner deutlich. Die Anlage diente sogar schon als Filmkulisse. Auf einer 4 Hektar großen Fläche befinden sich drei original eingerichtete Höfe mit entsprechenden Nebengebäuden und Hausgärten. Die Gebäude wurden aus verschiedenen Orten des Vogtlandes umgesetzt. Keines davon hat sich ursprünglich hier befunden. In insgesamt 18 Gebäuden aus der Zeit um 1720 bis 1830 werden Dauer- und Sonderausstellungen zu verschiedenen Themen gezeigt. Auf einer Freifläche sind Felder angelegt und wird historisches Saatgut angebaut. Tiere sind auf den Weiden und in den Ställen zu finden. Auch in Erlbach siedelten sich böhmische Exulanten an, die den Musikinstrumentenbau in den Ort brachten. Werkstätten gibt es bis heute, vor allem Streich- und Zupfinstrumentenbauer. Ein besonderes Kleinod ist das Obervogtländische Dorfmuseum am Lindenplatz in Erlbach, ein Doppelstubenblockhaus aus dem Jahre 1726. In der Ausstellung wird die Geschichte des Ortes dokumentiert und das Musikinstrumentengewerbe dargestellt.

Wer in Markneukirchen übernachtet hat, wandert am Abzweig der Straße nach Breitenfeld einfach im Seitental weiter und trifft dort alsbald auch auf das Waldbad von Breitenfeld.</p> <p>Wieder auf dem Vogtland Panorama Weg® geht es schon bergauf. Das Steilstück geht ordentlich in die Beine, doch man kann auf der anschließenden flachen Strecke am Hirschmühlenteich vorbei die Muskeln wieder lockern. Durch eine liebliche Talaue wandert man weiter und erreicht die Streusiedlung Friebus. Dort wird die Straße nach Klingenthal überquert (Vorsicht an der B 283), um auf ihrer gegenüberliegenden Seite einige Meter in Richtung Wald und dann durch die Ferienhaussiedlung „Zum Wacholderbusch“ zu wandern. Wir gehen weiter über den früheren Richtplatz Spornreuth ins nahe Ortszentrum von Erlbach.</p> <p>Gegenüber dem ehemaligen Gasthof Tauscher steht der Wegweiser mit den Angaben für die nächsten Kilometer. Bergauf geht es auf den Schloßpenzel bis nördlich von Wernitzgrün, wo man den EB auch schon wieder verlässt. Mit schönem Blick auf Wernitzgrün wandert man zum Waldrand und taucht in die dunklen Nadelwälder des Grenzkammes ein. Wie auch der Grenzverlauf, beschreibt der Vogtland Panorama Weg® einen weiten Bogen um Eubabrunn, biegt an einer Bungalow-Siedlung scharf rechts in den Wirtsgrund ab. Der VPW überquert ca. 200 m vor dem Juliusstein mittels einer Furt den Wirtsgrundbach. Der sehenswerte alte Grenzstein (Juliusstein) lohnt den „Hakenschlag“. Von ihm aus umkurvt man den 755 m hohen Hinteren Kegelberg auf halber Höhe, kreuzt die Skipiste und nähert sich so allmählich dem Erlbacher Ortsteil Landesgemeinde.</p> <p>Vorbei am Vorderen Floßteich wandern wir die letzten Kilometer, umgeben von hohen Bergen, ins Tal der Landesgemeinde.</p>
